A DRIVER has been clocked with a hilarious apology note taped to his car – letting other motorists know why he was driving so slowly.

TikToker posted the and it’s since gone viral across social media.

The apology was stuck to the back of the driver’s ironically named Nissan Note hatchback, saying: “Sorry!! Nine points on licence.”

And, when the driver and the passenger in the car behind spotted the driver’s hilarious confession, they couldn’t stop laughing.

However, the driver could be in trouble according to the Highway Code.

The Highway Code says: “windscreens and windows must be kept clean and free from obstructions to vision.”

Once you have nine penalty points on your licence, you can’t afford any more.

If you get 12 points within three years you can be banned from driving for six months.

If you get a second disqualification within three years it’s a 12-month ban or a two-year ban if you manage a third.

The TikTok video has had 3.2million views on TikTok and 151,700 likes.

People on TikTok were quick to comment below.

One said: “I couldn’t even get mad if it was driving slow.”

Another said: “Nine points with Nissan Note what happens if he gets a Ferrari…”

A third revealed: “I was behind this before Christmas. It’s some old lady.”

A Nigerian lady has showed off the clever method she employed to serve food to her four brothers who hate washing their plates after eating.

A video shared online shows the hilarious moment the lady, identified simply as Chidinma, presented their meal of jollof rice and chicken on plantain leaves.

When the young men saw the new development, they were taken by surprise and questioned why she was treating them like ‘animals’.

In response, Chidinma explained that they have formed the habit of not washing their plates after meals and occasionally breaking plates when they do the dishes.

After studying the pattern, she decided to use plantain leaves to serve them to spare all of them the stress of washing plates.

She, however, instructed them to wash and dry the plantain leaves after eating because she plans to continue serving them with the leaves going forward.

In other news, a young Nigerian man, identified as Mai Daraja, has narrated how he won the heart of a lady who always flaunts her boyfriend on social media.

Mai, who tied the knot with his beau Maryam recently, revealed that they met on Facebook and moved their conversation to WhatsApp.

However, he noticed that Maryam often posted about her then-boyfriend on her status, using endearing captions like ‘half of my life’.

Knowing that he was interested in her, he expressed his feelings and appealed to her to give him half the attention that she gave her boyfriend.

‘American Idol’ Contestant Quits The Show After Calling Out Katy Perry’s ‘Hurtful’ Mom-Shaming Joke

A huge variety of people try out for shows like American Idol.

Earlier this season, Sarah Beth Liebe tried out for the show.

Liebe was adorable with her curly red hair and young-looking face. The judges were surprised to find out Liebe was a 25-year-old mother of three.

When Katy Perry found out how old Liebe was and how many children she had, she mock-fainted.

Liebe joked she would pass out if Perry laid on the table.

Perry’s response made viewers as well as Liebe feel uncomfortable.

“Honey, you’ve been laying on the table too much!”

While Liebe appeared to take the joke in stride, she later took to TikTok to express her feelings about the comment.

“Katy Perry made a joke that wasn’t super-kind. … It was embarrassing to have that on TV. … I think that mom-shaming is super-lame.”

Well. I didnt think id be making this video, but i just wanted to say a couple things since im being flooded with articles and comments/messages about this.

When Liebe returned for the first round of Hollywood Week, she abruptly quit the show.

Perry pleaded with her to stay.

Liebe didn’t cite Perry’s comment as her reason for leaving.

Instead she told the judges her children needed her and she wanted to go home to them.

“This opportunity is really rad, but this is actually going to be my last performance, because my heart’s at home.”

“So, I’m going get home to my babies. They kind of need me.”

Liebe added:

“I don’t even know what show business is.”

“I’ve been a mom since I was 18. I’ve been married since I was 18. … I don’t think I realized quite how hard it would be to be away from my kids.”

“They’re all still really young. …”

“There is a lot of guilt when you leave your kids to do something completely selfish.”

Despite the judges trying to convince her to stay, she chose to leave and go home to her children.

“I’m really humbled and grateful, and Katy had some really nice things to say.”

“It would be nice if my kids were a little older. I understand how big of an opportunity this is, but I still kind of want to get home.”

“I am sure when I get home, I will regret it and be like, ‘Man, you should have stayed’.”

Many people took to social media to give Liebe their support.

Several also expressed disappointment with Perry’s comment.

At the end of the day, there are certain things you just don’t joke about with someone you don’t know, especially on live television.

While Perry might not have meant any harm by the comment, it was appropriately called out as slut-shaming and mom-shaming.

Please do better.

Upstate NY Seniors Invade Principal’s House For Epic Prank

The Senior Prank has been a long-standing high school tradition. The Principal of an Upstate New York school got quite the surprise when dozens of seniors crashed his home for a late-night prank.

Mechanicville High School Principal Mike Mitchell kept waiting for the senior prank to happen. He told us that when they usually come back to school on Monday, the seniors have a prank already in motion. One year there was a for sale sign on the front of the building, another year the halls were filled with balloons and streamers but this year, nothing!

That was until Principal Mitchell was at home around 9:30 pm in Delmar (30 minutes away) and heard some commotion outside. When he walked out his front door, the shenanigans began!

There were about thirty to forty students declaring that they were coming in to hang out and have a slumber party! Principal Mitchell was blindsided by their senior prank and loved it. What he didn’t know was that his wife and young son were in on it.

Mrs. Mitchell made arrangements and had pizza and wings delivered. They built a bonfire in the Principal’s backyard and played cornhole.

They also made themselves at home in the Principal’s living room and watched the NBA Finals. They hung out in the wee hours of the morning.

When the Mechanicville seniors arrived, they said they were coming to stay over. Some of them did! There were about nine seniors that wound up spending the night at the Principal’s house. Principal Mitchell told us that they were welcome to stay but he woke them up for the school day the next morning at 4:30 am!

Well done MHS Class of 2023!

Editors note: Principal Mitchell cares about each and every student at Mechanicville Central School. I know this because my son attends the school and I grew up in Mechanicville. Mike treats every one of those kids like his own and is a huge part of the community and the school’s success. We are blessed to have him as, not just the principal, but a leader and mentor.

And Just Like That season two review – a lavish, ridiculous and hilarious meme-fest

It will never live up to Sex and the City, but it’s intensely quotable, brilliantly watchable and packed with hilarious high jinks. Isn’t that enough?

The second season of And Just Like That, HBO’s controversial, heavily criticised Sex and the City revival, manages to do the unthinkable: it is even more lavish and unreservedly ridiculous than its first go-around. Here is just a small sample of some of the more daft things that happen in its first seven episodes: Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Lisa (Nicole Ari Parker) lust after a student at their children’s school; Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) spends a scene mulling over the word “jizz”; Seema (Sarita Choudhury) dates a guy who uses a penis pump; Who’s The Boss? star Tony Danza has an extended cameo as himself, in which he worries he will get cancelled for appearing in Che Diaz’s (Sara Ramirez) sitcom pilot. And that barely scratches the surface of all the ludicrous high jinks Carrie and co get up to this season. It would seem that the showrunner, Michael Patrick King, having seen all the memes about its (often unintentionally) hilarious first season, has decided to plunge head-first into unfettered bonkersness. And the show is all the better for it.

Much of the criticism of And Just Like That’s first season centred on the ungainliness of it all: early episodes groaned under the weight of 10 years’ worth of exposition, plot points were introduced and abandoned with impunity, and the show’s discussion of gender and racism was deemed clunky and out of character. I don’t necessarily agree with the last gripe – the well-meaning but out-of-touch way Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) discussed, say, transgender issues or Black Lives Matter, reminded me of the way my extended family would discuss these subjects – but both criticisms have largely been dealt with this time. Che is no longer a walking, talking infographic, and Miranda no longer sounds as if she is reciting sections of the book White Fragility from memory.
