Shocking stat shows Man Utd WORSE under Erik ten Hag than Solskjaer as fans joke they are having ‘flashbacks’

July 31, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

MANCHESTER UNITED have lost MORE times under Erik ten Hag this season than they ever did with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as boss, it has been revealed.

In the Premier League alone United have suffered nine defeats in the Dutchman’s debut campaign.

And, as ex-Liverpool star Jose Enrique gleefully pointed out on Twitter, that is more than in both of Solskjaer‘s full seasons in charge.

The club legend’s first season in 2019/20 saw United lose eight games in the league, before recording just six the following season with third and second-placed finishes respectively.

However, after a dismal start to the 2021/22 campaign which saw United lose five times from 12 matches under his guidance, the Norwegian saw his time as manager come to an end.

Solskjaer was, however, unable to secure a trophy as Old Trafford boss, losing the Europa League final in 2021.

While Ten Hag has already managed to win the Carabao Cup and could end the season with two trophies with the FA Cup final still to come.

However, upon seeing these figures, some United fans seem keen to write the former Ajax boss off already.

One fan wrote: “Ten Hag is a worse Solskjaer with no hair.”

A second remarked: “Ole Gunnar Solskjaer I owe you an apology. You were never this bad. I am officially Ten Hag out from now on.”

A third joked: “Ten Hag is starting to give me Solskjaer flashbacks.”

“Ten Hag not up to it, Solskjaer has a better record,” commented a fourth.

A fifth said: “The only difference between Ole Gunnar Solskjær & Erik Ten Hag is Casemiro. There is nothing you can tell me [otherwise].”

A sixth added: “Erik Ten Hag is a fraud, the Carabao Cup is the only difference between him and Ole Gunnar Solskjær.”

While another – seemingly a Cristiano Ronaldo fan – declared: “Ten Hag ended CR7’s career along with his own. Is Ten Hag doing any better a job than Solskjaer?”

Ten Hag’s ninth loss of the Prem campaign, Sunday’s abject reversal against West Ham, has fans fearing an end-of-season wobble that could cost them a spot in next season’s Champions League.

Despite a promising start to the season, they now sit just one point ahead of bitter rivals Liverpool, who walloped them 7-0 at Anfield in March.

It should be noted that across the two seasons Solskjaer had in charge, he scored a win rate of 51.31 per cent as opposed to Ten Hag who has a win rate of 55 per cent so far this season.

After the fiasco of last season, it has been a season of transition for United with Ten Hag trying to re-establish the club’s core principles.

But SunSport’s Dave Kidd believes this shows how big of a mess the club has been in since Sir Alex Ferguson left in 2013.

Tom Brady posts hilarious tweet as he watches Super Bowl after retirement announcement | Fox News

July 29, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

FOX Sports’ ‘NFL Sunday’ crew joins ‘Fox News Sunday’ host Shannon Bream to preview the match-up between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of Super Bowl LVII.

Recently retired quarterback Tom Brady is sitting on his couch watching Super Bowl LVII on Sunday night like the rest of us. But he doesn’t seem entirely sure what to do.

Brady called it quits after his 23rd NFL season following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round. This time of year, he’s used to playing, with his most recent Super Bowl coming in 2020 when he defeated the Kansas City Chiefs at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, collecting his seventh Super Bowl ring.

But retired life means spectating instead of playing, and he used the perfect GIF to explain his mindset right now.

He used one from the hit movie “Talladega Nights,” where Will Ferrell’s character, Ricky Bobby, won his first race and, well, wasn’t sure how to act in his first interview.

“I’m not sure what to do with my hands,” the GIF read.

Of course, Brady is just joking around, but it’s surely going to be an adjustment knowing that he won’t be able to vie for more Vince Lombardi trophies.

During an appearance on “The Herd” earlier this week, the seven-time Super Bowl winner said he does not have any solid plans between now and next year.

“I think, for me, I want to be great at what I do. And even talking last week with the people at Fox Sports and the leadership there, allowing me to start my Fox opportunity in the fall of 2024 is something that’s great for me,” Brady said Monday.

Brady is also excited to see Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks Jalen Hurts battle for that trophy.

“Two of the best tonight in Pat and Jalen. Good luck to KC and Philly, can’t wait to watch,” he tweeted.

Perhaps one way that Brady can pass the time is by practicing his broadcasting during the game. He said that he will be joining the Fox Sports team in fall of 2024, taking a year to prepare and perfect his new craft.
