I’m trying to create shortcuts wherever I can, especially because I really want to enjoy the holidays. These cookies are some of my favorite ones because they’re so easy. Cake Mix Crinkles are even better because they’re a little fancier (perfect for Christmas) and no one will know they’re from a cake mix! I always love crinkle cookies at Christmas. They seem so festive, kind of like snowball cookies. We used to make chocolate crinkle cookies when I was a kid and I remember loving them. Whatever your reason for making cookies with a mix, these are a great go-to recipe for any occasion. 4 Ingredients Needed You can use ANY flavor cake mix . Lemon, chocolate, yellow, strawberry: you name it you can use it. Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies are some of my favorite behind these! That makes it SO easy to make a ton of different flavor cookies for your holiday platters without all the work and extra ingredients. Eggs : Be sure to use large eggs. Vegetable Oil : Makes these easy to mix! How to make Cake Mix Crinkle Cookies Choose your cake mix flavor. Use whatever flavor you like, or pick a few! I love using vegetable oil which keeps them tender, but if you want to make cake mix cookies with butter, you can use melted butter instead. Use your favorite mix-ins (optional). I used chocolate chips in these crinkle cookies but you could leave them out. Or, add mint chip pieces or M&Ms or chopped candy. The dough is sticky, so if it’s too soft, chill it for 30 minutes before baking. I like to roll these in powdered sugar before baking – that’s what makes them crinkly! Tip From Dorothy Expert Tips The dough will be sticky but that’s ok. If it’s too hard to work with, chill it. Skip the add-ins for a plain cookie! We also love adding nuts, like pecans or walnuts. Can you freeze cake mix cookies? I always freeze cookies (learn how to freeze desserts). Simply stack them between paper towels or wax paper in an airtight container and freeze for up to a month. You may need to re-roll them in powdered sugar when thawing. Easy Cake Mix Crinkle Cookies Recipe Ingredients 1 (15.25 ounce) yellow cake mix (or any flavor) ½ cup (118ml) vegetable oil (or melted butter) 2 large eggs 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips (or other mix-in, like M&Ms) 1 cup (113g) Powdered sugar for rolling Instructions Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two cookie sheets with silat baking mats. Mix cake mix, oil, and eggs with a hand or a stand mixer until a sticky dough forms. Stir in chocolate chips. If dough is too wet to handle, chill for 30 minutes. Place about 1/2 cup powdered sugar in a small bowl. Scoop 2 tablespoon sized balls of dough and coat them with powdered sugar. Place on cookie sheets. Bake immediately (or powdered sugar will dissolve) for about 10-12 minutes. Cool at least 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheets. Harry Kane reflected on a dream week after he continued his excellent start to life at Bayern Munich and became a father again.

The £100million England striker netted twice as Bayern beat Augsburg 3-1 in the Bundesliga on Sunday afternoon, adding to the goal he scored on his league debut against Werder Bremen.

It came after his wife Kate gave birth to the couple’s fourth child – Henry Edward Kane – last weekend.

Kane scored his first goal in front of Bayern’s home crowd at the Allianz Arena when he converted from the penalty spot after Augsburg’s Niklas Dorsch was penalised for handball.

The former Tottenham frontman then clinically added a second after Alphonso Davies played him clear on goal 21 minutes from time.

It capped a memorable week for Kane, whose wife Kate gave birth to a son, Henry Edward

Bayern went on to win 3-1 to continue their perfect start to the new Bundesliga campaign.

Speaking to DAZN afterwards, Kane said: ‘I’ve been here a few weeks now and I’ve been loving the chemistry that we’ve built. That will only grow more and more as we play.

‘Every day we are learning in training, every match we learn more and more about each other.

‘We’ve got some fantastic quality in the side so naturally you feed off each other anyway.

‘It’s been a crazy few weeks for sure. All positive, all amazing stuff. I’m really excited with it all – it’s an experience which will live with me forever.’

Kane added: ‘[My family] is back in London at the moment, they’ll be over in a few weeks. It’ll be great to be with them in Munich.’

Kane missed Bayern’s traditional lederhosen photoshoot to mark Oktoberfest in the week after flying home to be with his wife after she gave birth on Sunday.

Henry is the Kanes’ fourth child after daughters Ivy, 6, and Vivienne, 5, and son Louis, 2.

Although Thomas Tuchel’s side lost 3-0 to RB Leipzig in the season-opening DFL-Supercup, which saw Kane come off the bench to make his debut two days after arriving, they recovered to thrash Bremen 4-0 on the Bundesliga opening night.

Kane described the atmosphere at his debut match as ‘like a big European night, like a Champions League game.’

Bayern had sold more than 13,000 replica Kane shirts within 24 hours of his arrival – a new record.

They travel to Borussia Monchengladbach this Saturday before Kane reports for England duty ahead of next month’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Ukraine and a friendly with Scotland.

Andy Robertson could not help but fire a playful dig at Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo after Ryan Gravenberch signed for Liverpool on Deadline Day.

The Reds confirmed the arrival of Gravenberch from Bayern Munich for £34million on Friday night. The Netherlands midfielder has signed a five-year deal at Anfield and becomes Jurgen Klopp’s fourth and final summer arrival after Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Waturu Endo.

Upon his arrival to the club’s training ground, Gravenberch was pictured meeting his new teammates. Liverpool’s social media team filmed him being given a tour of the facilities, where he bumped into international colleagues Van Dijk and Gakpo, before greeting Robertson for the first time.

As the pair met, Robertson said: “Finally, a good Dutch player.” Laughter could be heard in the background as the Scotland left-back continued: “You OK brother, are you good? Nice to meet you.”

Gravenberch is the third Netherlands international in the Liverpool squad alongside Van Dijk and Gakpo, and is the fifth Dutchman Klopp has signed during his time on Merseyside. Sepp van den Berg and Georginio Wijnaldum are the other two, while Dirk Kuyt is the highest scoring Dutchman in Liverpool history with 71.

He will wear the no.38 at Liverpool and further bolsters the Reds’ midfield options. Speaking after the move was confirmed, Gravenberch said: “I’m very happy. Very happy that the deal is done and I’m finally here. If you see it from the outside, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“Also the fans, the stadium, I think everything from the outside is top. So that’s why [it was the right club]. I’m really looking forward to [being at Anfield] and I can’t wait to hear the You’ll Never Walk Alone song.

“Now we start fresh again, a new start, and I’m going to give my all for this club. [My ambitions are] to win prizes. To win prizes, play a lot and show them who we are and who I am.”

Klopp added: “Really happy to bring him in because he’s an exceptional talent. Everybody knows that. He is 21, played over 100 games for Ajax already. Had a, I wouldn’t even say difficult season at Bayern because in that age group it’s completely normal; you go into a world-class team and he had his minutes and stuff like this.

“But how Thomas Tuchel said today in the press conference in Munich I think, the position he is best at, they don’t really have in their system. We have that – that’s good. We have a lot of games to play. We will see how long he needs now because I don’t know, we need to have a look at that.”
