Shaq breaks down in laughter as he debuts new ‘crooked’ haircut inspired by ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith | Daily Mail Online
NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal broke down in laughter after debuting his new haircut he joked was inspired by Stephen A. Smith.
O’Neal appeared alongside Adam Lefkoe and Candace Parker for a segment of TNT Tuesday before the Oklahoma Thunder and Miami Heat game on Tuesday.
The former basketball star’s ‘crooked’ hairline didn’t go unnoticed as he leaned into Frye to refer to him by an alias upon sitting down.
‘To my right, a four-time champion, Stephen A. Shaq,’ Lefkoe joked while introducing O’Neal. ‘You know, we had plans but when that hairline walks in it’s something we gotta discuss.
‘Shout out to my main man, Stephen A,’ the NBA legend added while pointing at his hairline that started in the middle of his head.

Parker was swift to notice that O’Neal’s hear line was crooked and wasn’t shy to call it out on air.
‘Ay, is that – crooked?’ Parker asked.
‘Is it crooked?’ O’Neal responded as the camera zoomed in for a closer look.
Tears of laughter welled in O’Neal’s eyes as Lefkoe reassured his hair ‘looked good.’
‘Oh it is crooked,’ the Hall of Famer said while pointing the blame at his barber.
‘Bill I’ma kill you when I get home Bill,’ he laughed.
Commenters on Twitter were swift to add onto the banter.
‘Shaq’s hair line looks like he’s been wearing lace front wigs for a while,’ one person wrote.
‘Is that a 7 or 8 head?’ another person added.
‘Is Shaq preparing his forehead for NBA Mount Rushmore?’

The former basketball star also appeared for a short segment on NBA TV with Kristen Ledlow and Channing Frye.
His co-hosts didn’t hesitate to mock O’Neal’s new style before he walked on set.
‘I’ve been told though that our Hall of Famer, Shaquille O’Neal, is not available, but instead, Stephen A. Shaq is on the line,’ Ledlow joked.
‘Don’t laugh at my haircut,’ O’Neal said while Ledlow insisted the camera crew zoom in the legend’s head.
‘Zoom in, that boy looking good ain’t he,’ added while welcoming the playful criticism.

Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes on Eddie Howe’s joke and ‘one of the best days of his life’ – Chronicle Live
Bruno Guimaraes described his man of the match display against Brentford as one of the “best days of his life” after netting twice in the 5-1 win at St James’ Park.
The Brazil international was afforded a standing ovation against the Bees with the sparkling display coming in front of his watching family who had travelled over from Rio de Janeiro.
United climbed to fifth in the table after the resounding victory on Tyneside and Bruno was delighted with the outcome.
Bruno said after the game: “I am very pleased. “It’s one of the best days of my life.
“To score two goals – which are my first of the season – and Eddie Howe joked with me I wasn’t so good with the head! My second goal made me really happy.
“It’s difficult to speak about best moments but this was special. My whole family were in the stadium so it was important for me. I’m so grateful. “It is one of the best days of my life.”
Bruno opened the scoring with a downward header before scoring a solo goal after the break.
Reflecting on the strike, Bruno said: “I recovered the ball and went to do a pass. I didn’t see anybody though.
“I thought: ‘I will just shoot’ and it was beautiful. “It was important because Brentford scored two minutes before so it was vital.”
Newcastle are now fifth in the table and in a European place but Bruno urged on the cautious side.
Bruno added: “It’s nice, but it is just the beginning. It’s so early to speak about it. We must think about it game by game. “It is nice but we need to keep it going.”

London, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Dargaville: Sign prank puts Kaipara metropolis on the map – NZ Herald
What do you do when your hometown is left off a signpost pointing the way to the world’s greatest cities?
The answer, of course, is that you add it yourself.
That appears to be what someone has done to the world-famous signpost at Te Rerenga Wairua, or Cape Reinga, which now boasts a pointer indicating the distance to Dargaville alongside London, Sydney, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
It’s not clear how long the Dargaville sign has been there — it’s so well executed it may have been hiding in plain sight for months — but a check in the Advocate archive proves it definitely wasn’t there when the signs were installed back in 2008.
Matt Browning, from Rotorua, may not be the first visitor to spot the Dargaville patriot’s handiwork but he was the first to bring it to national attention via his Instagram page.
Browning said the cheeky addition summed up all that was great about New Zealand.
“I love it. I’ve travelled a lot but there’s something about the Kiwi attitude, the cheekiness. We don’t take ourselves too seriously.”
“It’s quirky and fun that someone has said, ‘I think Dargaville should be on the map, and I’m going to see to it myself’. I think it speaks to the best of New Zealand really.”

Browning said the sign was so well made it took a keen eye to notice it was out of place.
He spotted it only because he worked a lot with fonts so he realised there was something peculiar about the G in Dargaville.
On closer inspection, it turned out that was because the Dargaville sign, unlike the others, had been meticulously hand-painted. The sign has been further embellished with a white note pointing the way to ‘Trev’s’.
Browning, who has a software business, was visiting friends at Rangiputa when he took a trip up to Cape Reinga on Saturday.
Former Kaipara mayor Graeme Ramsey, who lives at Baylys Beach, just outside Dargaville, praised the mystery signmaker’s initiative.
“It’s about time Dargaville was there among the other great cities of the world. I applaud them for putting Dargaville in its rightful place.”
It’s not the first time the famous Cape Reinga signpost has been in the news.
In 2008 vandals snapped off all the pointers, which were then replaced with sturdier wooden versions.
And in 2013 an observant reporter travelling the length of New Zealand noticed the Cape Reinga signpost claimed Bluff was 1452km away — while the signpost at Bluff gave the distance to Cape Reinga as only 1401km.
The missing 51km was never found.
