October 30, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Jose Mourinho left a hilarious comment on John Obi Mikel’s Instagram post as the former player reunited with two Chelsea teammates.

The ex-midfielder was snapped with Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou, with all three big fan favourites at the Blues.

Chelsea won their first ever Champions League title in 2012 with the help of their efforts, a historic moment in the club’s history.

Mikel and Drogba have both retired from the game, although Kalou is still playing as he stars for top flight Djibouti side AS Arta/Solar7.

The trio of heroes recently met up in the Ivory Coast and allowed Chelsea fans to reminisce of their stints in royal blue.

Former manager Mourinho was also happy to see them as he took to the Instagram comments with a funny response.

“Daddy is missing!!!! You rich guys can enjoy holiday time,” said the legendary Blues boss.

Mikel, Drogba and Kalou all played under the management of the Portuguese football icon at Chelsea.

They won the FA Cup together in 2007, with the former two also Premier League champions in the boss’ return in 2015.

Mikel and Kalou recently returned to Stamford Bridge as they played for a Chelsea Legends side against Bayern Munich legends in memory of club legend Gianluca Vialli.

Over in Italy, Mourinho has been finding life tough during his third year at Roma thus far.

He won the Europa Conference League in his first season and took them to the Europa League final in May.

However, they currently sit 10th in Serie A and Mourinho was recently reported to be fighting against the prospect of being sacked.

I’ve started my first 9-5 job and the schedule is so crazy – I don’t have the energy to cook dinner or see friends | Daily Mail Online

October 30, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

A college graduate broke down in tears as she revealed her struggle to adjust to her new nine-to -five work schedule in her first proper job.

Brielle, who lives in New Jersey, shared that she was struggling to find time to have a life outside of her four-hour round commute and her long work days.

In a video which garnered more than 1.5 million views, the graduate said that she had neither the time or energy to cook or shower after arriving home.

The content creator added: ‘Nothing to do with my job at all, but just like the 9-5 schedule in general is just crazy.’

Many people flooded the comments in support of the young woman who works in marketing, with several calling for a four-day work week.

Brielle (pictured), who moved to New Jersey for her first job after college, became emotional as she shared how she felt overwhelmed with her four-hour round commute and work schedule

Brielle landed her role after five months of searching and sending out ‘hundreds’ of applications daily.

The young woman explained she had no option but to move to New Jersey for her New York-based job, because she couldn’t afford sky-rocketing rent prices in the city.

The teary-eyed woman divulged it took ‘f****ng forever’ to get to and from her workplace, admitting that it would be easier if she lived within walking distance.

Brielle continued: ‘I leave here and get on the train at like 7.30am and I don’t get home until 6.15pm earliest. I don’t have the time to do anything.’

In a later video, she told her TikTok following of around 118,800, that sometimes she does not make it home until 7.30pm.

‘I want to shower, eat my dinner and go to sleep. I don’t have the time or energy to cook my dinner either,’ added Brielle.

‘I don’t have energy to work out, like that’s out of the window. I’m so upset. Oh my god.’

Balancing work and personal life would be easier if she worked from home, according to the graduate.

The content creator stressed that she doesn’t have the energy to cook dinner after a long day at work

She reflected that it ‘could be worse,’ stating: ‘I know I could be working longer, but I get off and it’s literally pitch black, like I don’t have energy.’

The stressed woman branded herself as ’emotional’ and ‘dramatic’ for worrying about how she would make time for her a personal life, such as dating and maintaining friendships, outside of her first job.

But many viewers flocked to the comments sharing how they too were battling to grapple with their work-life balance.

One person wrote: ‘It’s so repetitive and depressing. I feel you girl,’ while another chimed in: ”Five days of work and two days off feels like hell, honestly.’

Others called for a shorter work week, with an individual suggesting: ‘Gen Z need to collectively move up into management positions and then collectively enforce the four day work week.’

Another commenter added: ’40 hour work week was designed with a homemaker to take care of house tasks.

‘We need dual incomes now, so that’s not possible. No time for anything.’

One person quipped: ‘The other generations have gaslit themselves to say this was ok.’

Some offered their empathy, noting: ‘You’re not alone it’s insane how legit your entire day is gone.’

One commuter of 30-years turned remote shared how they would ‘never ever go back’ to the office, saying: ‘Life is so much better working from home.’

But not everyone was sympathetic towards the graduate’s newly found plight, with certain onlookers welcoming her to ‘the real world’ and ‘adulthood’.

Many users flooded the comments with support for the grad, some were even calling for a four-day working week. However not everyone was sympathetic, with many welcoming her to ‘adulthood’ and the ‘real world’

One person jibbed: ‘You could always quit and join the military,’ whilst another viewer wrote: ‘Imagine having kids too to come home to after that!’

In a later video, Brielle described herself as ‘lucky’ and ‘thankful’ to land the role so soon after college, acknowledging how much more difficult her schedule would be with children or pets.

Discussing working parents, the graduate said: ‘I give so much grace to them  because it is incredibly hard in America to be emotionally and mentally stable when your days are structured like that.’

She divulged that she wasn’t prepared for the nine to five schedule due to studying remotely in both high school and partly in college during the Covid-pandemic.

Brielle finished off the video by stating America needed to change its current nine-to-five schedule.

‘It’s not fair the only people that are benefitting are people who run the corporations,’ said the content creator.

‘Or people who that are extremely rich or influencers that don’t have to work a regular schedule.’

Packers’ Campbell Gets Last Laugh After Jordan Love Comeback

October 29, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Jordan Love authored the first fourth-quarter comeback of his career in the Green Bay Packers‘ home opener, and he did so in spectacular fashion.

If there was any doubt that Love could lead an NFL franchise, the quarterback put it to bed on Sunday, September 24, with an 18-17 victory against the New Orleans Saints. Packers linebacker De’Vondre Campbell celebrated his teammate’s success with something of an I told you so message on X, the social media website formerly known as Twitter, following the game.

When I told everyone last year that https://t.co/56hSSQtDb2 was better than a lot of QBs in this league everyone laughed at me and called me crazy I wonder what they think now 🤭🤔 https://t.co/HGUkxJoBaQ

“When I told everyone last year that J. Love was better than a lot of QBs in this league, everyone laughed at me and called me crazy,” Campbell wrote as a comment to a separate post. “I wonder what they think now 🤭 🤔.”

Jordan Love Produced Roughest, Best Start of NFL Career Simultaneously

GettyQuarterback Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers dives into the end zone to score a touchdown during an NFL game against the New Orleans Saints in September 2023.

What made Love’s performance even more special was that he led the comeback against one of the better defenses in the NFL, and did so without the help of his top wide receiver (Christian Watson), top running back (Aaron Jones) and starting left tackle (David Bakhtiari) — all of whom were out with injury.

Love had his toughest day passing of the season, completing just 50% of 44 throws for one touchdown and his first interception of the year. As a result, Green Bay entered the final quarter down 17-0.

However, Love turned it on in the final stanza. He led a 46-yard drive that ended in an Anders Carlson field goal to finally put the Packers on the board. Green Bay got the ball back with a little over eight minutes to play, after which Love marched the offense 80 yards in 89 seconds. He capped the drive with a one-yard TD run and a two-point conversion to wide receiver Samori Toure to cut the lead to 17-11.

With roughly five and a half minutes to play in the game, Love began another 80-yard drive. This one took nine plays and a little less than two and a half minutes, finishing with an eight-yard touchdown pass to wideout Romeo Doubs in the front right corner of the end zone.

“Feels great,” Love said of the comeback after the game. “I think we were just going two-minute mode, going a little bit faster and taking some more shots downfield. We were getting a lot of man-to-man coverage and receivers were just capitalizing on those opportunities right there and making plays for us.”

“It wasn’t perfect a lot of that game, but guys never flinched and they showed out, showed up and made plays at the end,” Love continued. “It’s very hard [to comeback from 17 points]. Especially when you haven’t done what you wanted all game, especially offensively. We hurt ourselves more than we helped ourselves. Just to be able to stay poised and stay confident in what we’re doing … but it’s not easy. It’s a total team win right there.”

Packers Players Shared Universal Praise for Jordan Love Following Comeback Victory

GettyGreen Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love communicates at the line of scrimmage before a snap during an NFL game against the Chicago Bears in September 2023.

Love’s teammates on both sides of the football lined up with praise for their quarterback following the first late-game comeback of his career, which moved the Packers to 2-1 on the season.

“He’s just a dog man,” rookie wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks said. “It just show you how great of a leader and a player he is to be poised to bring us back from 17-0. I think of him highly, as I think we all do. We wasn’t surprised. We see him do that everyday. We know what he can do.”

The defense was just as complimentary of Love as the players he was passing the ball to during the fourth quarter.

“We been believing in Buddy Love, as I call him,” outside linebacker Preston Smith said. “He been playing at a high level, man. We know what he can do. As long as we have his back and we stay consistent, he can keep us in any game. We can win any game with him as our quarterback.”
