Flavio Briatore apre Crazy Pizza a Napoli: “Voglio dire una cosa al ‘Professor’ Sorbillo”

March 20, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Flavio Briatore apre Crazy Pizza a Napoli: “Voglio dire una cosa al ‘Professor’ Sorbillo” Flavio Briatore aprirà Crazy Pizza a Napoli e sfida Gino Sorbillo : “Apriremo a casa sua, a Napoli, così ci confrontiamo sullo stesso terreno. Perché noi dobbiamo sempre giocare coi più forti. Sorbillo è forte a Napoli? E noi diventeremo fortissimi a Napoli. Ci vediamo al Crazy Pizza a Napoli. Viva Napoli!”, dice l’imprenditore. Sorbillo è forte a Napoli? E noi diventeremo fortissimi a Napoli. Ci vediamo al Crazy Pizza a Napoli. Viva Napoli! E comunque benvenuto a Napoli Flavio

Pre-sale tickets for Liam Gallagher in Manchester SELL OUT with fans calling it a ‘joke’ – Manchester Evening News

March 19, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Pre-sale tickets for Liam Gallagher’s tour have sold out less than an hour after going on sale amid ‘exceptionally high demand’, Co-op Live has announced.

The pre-sale tickets to Liam Gallagher’s ‘Definitely Maybe 30 year’ tour became available at 9am today with Co-op UK members promised ‘first in line access’. More tickets are set to be made available at 9am on Friday.

On Monday, Liam Gallagher delighted fans as he announced the new tour celebrating Oasis’ seminal debut album Definitely Maybe would take place in 2024. The tour includes three homecoming shows at the new Co-Op Live arena in Manchester on June 15, 16 and 27 next year.

Read more What’s On news from the Manchester Evening News here.

Posting on X, formerly Twitter, this morning Co-op Live wrote: “Demand for Liam Gallagher has been exceptionally high, and Co-op Member presale tickets are no longer available. General sale opens at 9:00am on Friday, when more tickets will be made available”.

The announcement has been met with fury by fans.

Posting on X, Ethan Lak wrote: “So literally no one got a ticket through the Co-op presale for Liam Gallagher I’m sorry but that’s a joke terrible terrible service.” Also posting on X John Lomas wrote: “Sat in the queue from 9:00am and didn’t get a look in! Straight away on resale sites.”

Morgan added: “Absolute mission the Liam Gallagher presale.” Bradley Smith posted a TikTok of an angry customer complaining at a service desk and wrote : “Me on the phone to my local coop after spending £1 on a membership to not even get Liam Gallagher presale tickets.”

Liam will be giving fans the chance to hear a number of songs that he rarely, if ever, performs when he heads out across the UK and Ireland in 2024 to play the Definitely Maybe album in full for the first time. And while it may not be the Oasis reunion that fans have been waiting for, there’s a chance the star could be joined by co-founding member Paul Arthurs (AKA Bonehead).

The tour kicks off in Sheffield on 2 June 2024 and concludes on 27 June – the day before Glastonbury kicks off. It will stop off in Cardiff, London Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin, with tickets available for general sale on .

Oasis’ 1994 debut became a defining work of the Britpop era and the tour will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of the massively influential record which spawned the likes of Rock ‘N’ Roll Star, Cigarettes and Alcohol, Slide Away and Columbia. The tour will include all the album tracks as well as a selection of choice B-sides.

Killing Joke Guitarist Geordie Walker Dies at 64

March 19, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Geordie Walker, a founding member and guitarist of the post-punk band and goth rock pioneers Killing Joke, has died. Aside from Jaz Coleman, Walker was the only other sole constant member of Killing Joke until his death. His bandmates confirmed the news in a statement, revealing that he died following a stroke earlier today (November 26). Walker was 64. Born in 1958, Walker’s family moved from Newcastle to Buckinghamshire. Walker and bassist Youth joined the band in 1979 after responding to an ad Jaz Coleman and Paul Ferguson put out in Melody Maker , which read: “Want to be part of the Killing Joke? We mean it man. Total exploitation, total publicity, total anonymity. Bass and lead wanted.” “I liked the sound of it, it looked rather serious, fanatical, I don’t know what it was but it clicked with me,” Walker said in a 1984 interview. “So I went down to see this guy [Coleman] and immediately started arguing with him about his taste in music and whatever, and I kept in touch and kept hassling them for some reason. I think it was the intensity of the argument I liked.” He moved in with the band shortly after. Coleman has said the band’s early manifesto was to “define the exquisite beauty of the atomic age in terms of style, sound and form.” The band played their first show in August 1979 and cited contemporaries such as Adam Ant, Lee “Scratch” Perry, and Public Image Ltd. as early influences. Following an EP in 1979, the band released their debut self-titled album in 1980. A prolific series of releases would follow throughout the ’80s including 1981’s What’s THIS For…! and the Conny Plank-assisted 1982 album Revelations. During that period, Jaz Coleman fled to Reykjavik, Iceland over concerns about the apocalypse. Walker and the band performed “Empire Song” on Top of the Pops with a roadie wearing a beekeeper outfit standing in for Coleman. Walker and Ferguson then decamped to Iceland to join Coleman. The band followed that album with 1983’s Fire Dances. Their 1985 album Night Time featured hit singles including “Love Like Blood” and “Eighties.” The band was dropped from Virgin Records following 1986’s Brighter Than a Thousand Suns and 1988’s Outside the Gate . In 1994, they released one of their best-selling albums with Pandemonium , which arrived in the middle of industrial rock’s boom. That same year they released Democracy . Their self-titled 2003 album was produced by Gang of Four’s Andy Gill and featured Dave Grohl on drums. The band followed it with multiple albums throughout the ’00s and ’10s. Walker’s impact as a guitarist is incalculable, with Killing Joke looming as an influence for so many artists across the spectrum of heavy music. Kevin Shields and Jimmy Page are outspoken fans, and it’s been claimed that Nirvana borrowed the melody of “Come As You Are” from “Eighties.” In addition to his work with Killing Joke, he was in the bands Murder, Inc. and the Damage Manual.

Update: Jo Koy Responds to Taylor Swift’s Reaction to His Joke at the Golden Globes

March 19, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Update 1/8/24: Jo Koy responded to his Taylor joke not exactly going over well, telling Entertainment Tonight “Aww, man, it was cute. I was just saying it was cute. I was just saying it’s less cutaways, that’s all.” No word from Tay, but we’ll update this article if that changes! Original story 1/7/24: Taylor Swift is currently at the Golden Globes with Keleigh Sperry, and the camera just happened to cut riiiiight to her while Jo Koy was making a joke about her NFL game-day appearances. The joke in question? “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift.” But Tay appeared to be completely unfazed by the joke and was spotted take a sip of her drink: Travis Kelce previously chatted on his New Heights podcast about the NFL showing Taylor Swift during games, saying, “I think it’s fun when they show who was at the game. I think it brings a little bit more to the atmosphere, brings a little bit more to what you’re watching. But at the same time I think…they’re overdoing it a little bit for sure, especially my situation. I think they’re just trying to have fun with it.” Meanwhile, Tay said in her TIME Magazine Person of the Year interview that she isn’t thinking about cameras on her during the games. “I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she explained. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once. I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.” YES TO THAT.

Stephen Mulhern confirms he’s in talks with ITV for Dancing On Ice: ‘I’d be crazy not to do it’

March 18, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Stephen Mulhern has shared the news that he is in talks to take over from Phillip Schofield on Dancing On Ice.

The new Deal or No Deal presenter, 46, has been tipped to be in the running for the hosting job on the skating series for months.

Stephen‘s name has appeared among the expected contenders to take over since the former This Morning star stepped away from his ITV commitments earlier this year.

And now the popular Catchphrase host has finally broken his silence on the rumours…

Stephen Mulhern to host Dancing On Ice with Holly Willoughby?

Phil’s former This Morning co-star Holly Willoughby has also subsequently moved on from the ITV daytime series. However, there have been no further developments about whether her position on Dancing On Ice may have altered.

But it seems fan-fave Stephen reckons it would be “great” for them to collaborate on screen again.

Stephen previously filled in for Phillip in early 2022 when the presenter contracted Covid.

He appeared alongside Holly for ITV kids’ show Ministry of Mayhem between 2004 and 2006, too.

And now Stephen has opened up about the possibility of them being colleagues again.

‘I think it’d be silly not to do it’

He told the Mirror: “I’m going to be brutally honest with you, I had the association with Defrosted when it was the spin-off show and when Phil was unwell I stood in, and I loved it. I absolutely loved it back with Holly. We had a great time. It’s fun. And the response on social media was amazing.”

Catchphrase host Stephen also indicated it would be foolish for him not to take the job, if offered.

He went on: “We are talking about Dancing On Ice. But I promise you now nothing has been agreed. I’ve not said yes, and I haven’t said no. Would I do it? Do you know something, I think it’d be silly not to do it. But nothing has been fully agreed.

It would be great to work with Holly again.

“It would be great to work with Holly again and if they said: ‘Is there any stipulation?,’ I would say: ‘Yeah they have got to be faster on the ice even on their first go.’”
