Matt “I’ve been kicking up a speech. I’m going to make it funny. I never lied to you Jag, FOR REAL! FOR REAL!” Big Brother 25 Spoilers | OnlineBigBrother Live Feed Updates

March 26, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Head of Household: Bowie
Nominees: Felicia & Matt
POV Players: everyone
POV Winner: Jag
Veto Ceremony: Doesn’t matter
Havenots: No more havenots

Lock your ranks in before midnight

The Situation: As the veto holder Jag decides who is evicted, Matt or Felicia. The remaining person will be the 3rd member of the final 3.

7pm Kitchen – Matt and Bowie.
Matt – I’ve been kicking up a speech. Bowie – yeah you have to. Matt – I am going to make it funny. Bowie – yeah. Matt – but not too mean. I am going to say just slight stuff like … remember like comments like Cirie made to me? Bowie – oh what was that?? Matt – so I am going to be like, Jag.. what would Reilly do? I want you to think about Reilly here. I’m going to be like FOR REAL Man, I want you to think about it? Bowie laughs. Matt – I am going to say little comments and quotes here and there. Bowie – yes! Matt – I am going to be like I never lied to you Jag .. FOR REAL! FOR REAL FOR REAL! Bowie – dude that’s funny! Matt – I am going to do that. Bowie – yes definitely do that. Matt – and then I’ll be like there is not much I can offer but what I can offer is (put one leg on the thing) is one last veto dance! And then I will do a gritty. Bowie – perfect, that will be the ending will it? Matt – yeah.

7:20pm Kitchen – Felicia, Matt, Jag and Bowie.
Felicia – Well I guess we’re not gettting a video today!?? Maybe tomorrow? I hope we do something tomorrow! This house is too big for four people. Matt – yeah and we don’t have the backyard. Bowie – hopefully we get to sleep in tomorrow! Felicia – there would be no reason to wake us up. Bowie – yeah. Jag – veto ceremony. Matt – they’ll wake us up for DRs.

7:23pm – 7:59pm Big Brother blocks the feeds. The feeds return to Matt, Jag and Felicia reminiscing about the season. Felicia – 6 days… 5 days and a wake up. I wonder what that jury house is like. I wonder if they really are letting them drink wine and watch movies. Jag – probably, I don’t see why not. Felicia – are you guys coming back if they ask you? Jag – yeah of course! Felicia – YOU WOULD?! Matt – I probably would. Jag – dope yeah! Matt – not right away though. I would. Jag – you wouldn’t? Felicia – no, one and done. If I was 25/27 I might consider it. 63 .. NO! I am done! Jag – well we’re 25 and 27. Felicia – yeah, its been an experience but nothing I need to repeat. Jag – man. Felicia – they’re building out there whatever they’re doing ..well not right now but all day I heard them. Felicia leaves to go to the bathroom. Jag – are we trying to (drink) tonight? I am tired that’s all.

8:45pm HOH room – Bowie listening to music, Matt playing cards and Felicia trying to fall sleeping in the comic bedroom.

9:33pm Kitchen – Matt and Jag making food and talking about what past seasons are like at the end.

9:35pm Comic Bedroom – Felicia.
Felicia – those guys aren’t coming down to talk or engage. They’re doing exactly what I said they were going to do .. just nothing. And so, it is time for me to roll out of the house. I don’t even care to be here anymore. I know it ain’t 10pm and I don’t even care! Because there ain’t nothing for me to do. I want to sit in those final 2 chairs but I ain’t going to beg them. All I can do is feed information, they can take it, and trust it because I haven’t made up no lies. Jag will just have to follow his gut. Matt going to look up and he is going to land in the jury house. Matt going to be sitting there with Bowie Jane if he ain’t careful.

9:50pm – 10:15pm Kitchen – Matt and Jag sitting at the small table talking.
Matt – the longest standing alliance. Jag – everyone else turned on each other or we sent them home. Matt – because we came up with that name on day 30 or something. Also if I was trying to get you out, I probably would have talked about the Minute Men. Jag – yeah. Matt – if I was really going to do that because that’s what Cam did. Jag – Cam’s so dumb. Matt – I am going to prep for my speech tomorrow. I’ll let you know if they tell me in the DR. Or maybe its all live? Jag – Bowie said we can have it for breakfast. Matt – we can have what? Jag – the wine. Matt – oh god! They stand in front of the memory wall and reminisce / talk about the past house guests. Matt – we’re already doing the recap.

10:30pm – 10:45pm HOH room – Matt and Jag.
Matt is trying to convince Jag that lightening starts from the ground. He says his 5 grade teacher told him that so he believes it. They chat about random things.. restaurants/wine, etc.

Kevin Bacon Agrees To ‘Crazy Idea’ For ‘Footloose’ 40th Anniversary

March 26, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Kevin Bacon is returning to the high school where he shot “Footloose” as the film celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. On Friday, the actor announced on the “Today” show that he’ll visit Utah’s Payson High School on prom day before the school is set to relocate to another building. Bacon shared the news during a segment “Today” did on the school and its ties to “Footloose.” The announcement comes after students pushed Bacon to attend prom by using their #BaconToPayson social media campaign and organizing an event to support his SixDegrees.org foundation. “I have been so impressed with everything that’s been going on there with this crazy idea to get me to come back,” Bacon said in a video call to a gym packed with students. He added that he’s been “amazed” by the students’ efforts, which included recreations of scenes from the movie, and gave them props for mentioning his foundation. “It’s really inspirational, so thank you, thank you. And I’m going to come. I got to come,” Bacon said before students erupted in cheers. “Thank you, guys. Let’s dance.” Bacon has previously shown love to Payson, sending students a video message after they asked him to visit the school in 2009. “Don’t be afraid to be different. Remember, it takes all kinds of people to make this world go around, so be good to each other, take care of each other and don’t forget, there’s nothing wrong with shaking what you got,” Bacon said before breaking into a dance. The school still keeps up with its “Footloose” connections. Ren McCormack’s locker in the film includes a plaque that reads, “Congrats! You’ve got Kevin Bacon’s locker!” and stills from the film appear in the hallways, the Deseret News, a Utah news outlet, noted. Bacon’s organization looks to create 40,000 humanitarian kits for the film’s anniversary, with hopes of Utah contributing thousands of kits toward that goal for charities in the state, Payson student council advisor Jenny Staheli told the Deseret News. Members of SixDegrees.org are set to visit the school on prom day to make kits with students next month.

Cypress Hill announce concert with London Symphony Orchestra decades after Simpsons joke

March 26, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Nearly 30 years after The Simpsons joked about Cypress Hill accidentally booking the London Symphony Orchestra while high, the hip-hop group is making it a reality. The Los Angeles collective has announced they will be joined by the 71-piece orchestra for a concert this summer. Taking place at London’s Royal Albert Hall on July 10th, the show will feature Cypress Hill performing some of their biggest hits like “Insane in the Brain” and “I Wanna Get High” over orchestral arrangements conducted by LSO’s Troy Miller. It shouldn’t be much of an adjustment for the group, which performed a handful of concerts with the San Diego Symphony last year. A ticket pre-sale will begin on March 26th (register here) in advance of the general on-sale commencing on March 27th via the Royal Albert Hall website. The upcoming concert is just the latest example of  The Simpsons seemingly predicting the future, including episodes in which Donald Trump announced his presidency run and Lady Gaga performed at the Super Bowl. In the 1996 episode “Homerpalooza,” Cypress Hill teamed up with the LSO when the orchestra showed up for their performance at Hullabalooza, a parody of Chicago’s Lollapalooza music festival. Watch a clip of the episode below. In a statement, Cypress Hill acknowledged as much by saying, “We are thrilled to be performing with the London Symphony Orchestra in such a prestigious venue as the Royal Albert Hall. It’s a dream come true, a collaboration only The Simpsons could have predicted.” The LSO’s managing director Kathryn McDowell added, “After years of social media teasing it, many fans may have started to believe it would only be a pipedream — but the LSO is delighted to finally be joining Cypress Hill on stage and in person, and look forward to creating an unforgettable musical moment! Many thanks to the creators of The Simpsons for the idea and to AEG Artistic and PolyArts for making it all happen.” In April, Cypress Hill will head out on their “We Legalized It” US tour. Find deals for tickets here. Last year,  Consequence re-released a season of The Opus podcast celebrating the legacy of Cypress Hill to coincide with hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, which you can check out below. We also sat down with Cypress Hill’s Sen Dog, who picked out the 10 hip-hop albums he thinks every music fan should own.

Mum who won luxury home worth £3m thought it was ‘practical joke’

March 25, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

A mum of two has won the keys to a luxurious house worth over £3 million – along with £100,000 in cash – after scooping the latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw. Sarah Stocks, 43, is now the proud owner of a Cotswold countryside retreat that has been exquisitely renovated to combine traditional features with a contemporary design and style. The stunning property comes mortgage-free and with all legal fees covered. Sarah has also been given a whopping £100,000 in cash – and can decide to either live in the house, rent it out for a supplementary income or sell it to become a cash multi-millionaire. If Sarah decides to rent it out, local estate agents estimate that the property could achieve a long-term rental value of between £5,000 – £7,000 per month. Sarah, whose £3 million winning entry came from her monthly £10 Omaze subscription, lives in a rented four-bedroom house in Essex with her two children, her partner Brett and his two children. She has worked in HR for the past two years. When Omaze first contacted Sarah to tell her she had scooped the prize, she was convinced her friends were playing an elaborate practical joke on her. The draw raised £3 million for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) to help support seriously ill children from across the UK. A spellbound Sarah said: “It was just another Friday when I got a call saying I’d won an Omaze prize. My first reaction was that my friends were playing an elaborate practical joke on me! I didn’t think for one second I’d actually won anything, but the next thing I knew the Omaze team were on my front lawn telling me I’d won a £3 million house in the Cotswolds, it was crazy! “I still couldn’t believe it even when I got to the house – I kept expecting one of my friends to jump out a wardrobe and shout gotcha! The house is absolutely gorgeous inside and out, the kitchen and dining area is probably bigger than our current house, it’s just unbelievable! “I love being surrounded by so much picturesque countryside – the Cotswolds is such a beautiful part of the world. The village seems idyllic and most importantly there is a lovely pub 2 minutes down the road – what more could you ask for! “We’re currently renting and our plan was to save as much as possible to one day get a little bungalow when the kids have left home – as buying a four-bedroom house for us all now just isn’t possible – I can’t believe we now own a five-bedroom house that you could fit five bungalows in! I work from home so it’s safe to say my office has just had a big upgrade! “Whatever we decide to do with the house long-term, this win is truly transformational for my family’s future – it’s changed our lives forever.” She added: “As a mother I’m obviously delighted that the draw raised so much money for GOSH Charity. I entered Omaze draws as I fell in love with the dream of winning one of the stunning houses, but always thought if I didn’t win, I’m supporting a worthy cause which is a nice feeling.” Sarah’s new home is a 4,700 sq ft Cotswolds property set in a third of an acre of landscaped gardens – and is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near Charlbury. The Cotswold stone house offers wonderful views overlooking rolling fields and the idyllic Cotswolds countryside. Inside the house Sarah has an open plan bespoke kitchen with an island, solid stone worktops, oak interiors, French door refrigerator with ice and filtered water and Gaggenau appliances throughout. There is an expansive dining room and well-appointed sitting room that will provide the perfect space for Sarah to relax with family and entertain friends. The ground floor also has two bedrooms with bathrooms, a walk-in larder, a cosy study, cloakroom, laundry room with solid oak worktop, Miele washing machine and dryer as well as a spacious vaulted double reception room. There is underfloor heating throughout the property. Upstairs offers three large bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms featuring Studio Ore bronze brassware and fixtures from Water Monopoly and Lefroy Brooks. There is an annex building with a double garage, home office and gym complete with shower room. The landscaped garden has an outdoor entertaining area with the same custom installation Bowers & Wilkins speakers that are also found in the reception room and kitchen. The house is nestled on the northeast edge of the Cotswolds countryside. The Cotswolds is England’s largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, famed for its chocolate box villages and stunning scenery. Sarah can enjoy hiking hillside trails, shopping at nearby Bicester Village, exploring the majesty of Blenheim Palace, taking a day trip to the historic city of Oxford or venture into London, which is only 90 mins away. As well as making Sarah a multi-millionaire, the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Cotswolds, raised an incredible £3 million for GOSH Charity, the first contribution towards Omaze’s incredible £10 million pledge over the next five years to help build the new, world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) – and help beat childhood cancer. Omaze is one of the Founder Partners of the transformational project and aims to achieve the £10 million donation through its first ever multi-year partnership, which will see it support GOSH Charity through multiple house draws to raise the vital funds. Every day, around 750 children and young people from across the UK are seen at GOSH for life-changing treatment and care. The hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential. GOSH Charity provides funding beyond what the NHS covers to help provide world-leading care, expertise and facilities. This includes the Charity’s biggest ever fundraising appeal to help a state-of-the-art new Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH, to drive transformation in children’s cancer care and save more lives. Liz Tait, GOSH Charity’s Director of Fundraising, said: “We are completely blown away that the Omaze Million Pound House Draw in the Cotswolds has raised an incredible £3 million for GOSH Charity in just six weeks. “This donation will be invaluable in helping us to build a world-leading new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital, helping to save more children’s lives and beat childhood cancer once and for all. We’re thrilled to have partnered with Omaze for the second time, and look forward to continuing our amazing partnership over the next five years. “We’d also like to wish Sarah a huge congratulations on being the winner of this stunning house in the Cotswolds and thank everyone who entered the prize draw – their support for seriously ill children is amazing and we couldn’t be more grateful.” This is the second time the charity has teamed up with Omaze. The first partnership, in 2021, raised £500k that helped GOSH Charity support the hospital’s most urgent needs. James Oakes, Chief International Officer at Omaze, said: “Everyone at Omaze is delighted that Sarah and her family have won this beautiful house in the Cotswolds, whilst also contributing to the incredible first instalment of £3 million towards our £10 million pledge to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital. “Omaze gives people the chance to win amazing houses, like this lovely house in the Cotswolds, whilst also introducing charities to vast new audiences that would otherwise be out of reach – it’s a real win-win for both charities and entrants. We’re incredibly proud that the Omaze community has raised over £34 million for good causes in the UK.” Draw entries for the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Cornwall are available now at omaze.co.uk. The draw closes on Sunday 31st March for online entries and Tuesday 2nd April 2024 for postal entries. Entrants can also choose to subscribe to Omaze to be automatically entered into every Grand Prize and Early Bird Prize, each month. Omaze subscribers receive double the amount of entries compared to non-subscribers and can cancel their subscription at any time. When Omaze has two draws running simultaneously, subscribers are entered into both, with a £10 subscription providing 30 entries into both house draws – meaning 60 entries in total for just £10. For full terms and conditions, see www.omaze.co.uk. No purchase necessary to enter. Over 18s and UK residents only.

Chelsea Handler gets laughs with joke about ex Jo Koy’s Golden Globes controversy

March 25, 2024 by humorouz Leave a Comment

While hosting the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, comedian Chelsea Handler seemingly joked about ex-boyfriend Jo Koy’s turn as host of the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. After a joke about Martin Scorsese received laughs, she quipped: “Thank you for laughing at that. My writers wrote it,” according to Access Hollywood. The line appeared to be a dig about Koy’s performance at the Golden Globes the week prior. While delivering his Golden Globes monologue to underwhelmed responses at times, Koy noted that he wasn’t responsible for all the jokes, according to TODAY.com reporting. “Some I wrote, some other people wrote,” Koy said. “Yo, I got the gig 10 days ago. You want a perfect monologue?” “Shut up. You’re kidding me, right? I wrote some of these, and they’re the ones you’re laughing at,” he added. Hander and Koy dated for almost a year before breaking up in summer of 2022, TODAY.com previously reported. Handler’s joke came after she shared her appreciation of older men, including Harrison Ford, Robert DeNiro and Scorsese. Ford received a career achievement award, and DeNiro and Scorsese both garnered nominations for “Killers of the Flower Moon.” “Unfortunately, Martin Scorsese isn’t here tonight, but that’s not going to stop me from letting everyone in this room know that I would toss him around like a little Italian meatball,” Handler said before adding: “Thank you for laughing at that my writers wrote that.” Handler also addressed all the women making headlines in the past year, Access Hollywood noted. “Women were victorious in all venues. ‘Barbie,’ at the box office. Taylor Swift and Beyoncé on their tours. Gwyneth Paltrow at that ski trial,” she said. “You could almost say it was the year of the women.” During the ceremony, Handler veered off-script and asked director Greta Gerwig and actor Margo Robbie to the stage to celebrate “Barbie,” according to Variety. Many of the awards that the blockbuster movie received were handed out during the commercial breaks. “I’m going to go rogue because Greta and Margo deserve the opportunity to make an acceptance speech,” Handler said. “Would you mind coming up here and accepting the award?” The two were stunned. “You know, when everyone is like ‘Oh, this is so unexpected,’” Robbie said. “This is actually unexpected and was not a part of the show. We are very grateful nonetheless.”
