What is Mandy Moore doing now?
Right at this moment, Mandy Moore wants SAG-AFTRA to get their priorities straight after the union prioritised ‘Halloween Guidelines’ over negotiations.
And really, why is the union more concerned about people dressing as characters from scrapped productions when they should be more concerned about the ceasing of negotiations?

So, what does the actor’s union want people to do instead of trying to get them back to work?
For Halloween, try to avoid anything related to scrapped content and don’t post anything related to scrapped content.
“Choose costumes inspired by generalized characters and figures (ghost, zombie, spider, etc.),” the post read.
Mandy Moore responds to the ‘guidelines.’
Meanwhile, Moore has something to say about the guidelines alright.
“Is this a joke?” Mandy wrote. Adding, “”Come on @sagaftra. This is what’s important?”

Instead of aiming towards getting their actors what they are owed, they’re more concerned about image.
But this just makes the SAG-AFTRA and the Hollywood CEO’s look bad- er, worse than they already do.
Understandably, Mandy is frustrated with the lack of progress in negotiations, and she is not the only one.
The response to SAG-AFTRA Halloween guidelines was predictable.
Multiple X posts all read the same lines- that the SAG-AFTRA leaders have become a joke.
With multiple post slamming the current leadership for endangering the livelihood of their members.
One post read, “They look like a complete joke focusing on Halloween costumes rather than getting the strike over.”
While other posts are slamming Fran Drescher specifically for her involvement in the shift in focus.
First post rightly pointed out that the strike had gone on long enough.
“The sag leadership needs to get its act together, it’s not cute anymore. These are people’s careers. Your members won’t hold out forever nor should they. You’re pushing people to the point of quitting acting and leaving the union. SAG might get broken up because of this.”
Another post read, “I guess Fran isn’t so Fine after this.”
But perhaps the most telling was the response from the former president of SAG-AFTRA, Melissa Gilbert.
When the former President of SAG-AFTRA calls the current Pres & her*Chief Negotiator a “joke” — while the whole of the world is laughing at their idiotic suggestions, and A-listers are revolting — it’s time to step down @frandrescher @DuncanCI #sagaftra #amptp #sagaftrastrike pic.twitter.com/c4jm6ly38z

So, Mandy Moore is not without support in her criticism of the SAG-AFTRA, and let’s keep our fingers crossed they get back to the negotiation table.
