Jamie Redknapp was serenaded with X-rated chants by Manchester United fans – much to the amusement of his Sky Sports colleagues.
The former Liverpool skipper was jokingly targeted by the Red Devils faithful during the half-time analysis of their 4-1 win over Chelsea on Thursday night.
As Sky returned from a commercial break, fans could be heard singing: “Jamie Redknapp is a w*****, is a w*****.”
It was all in good jest, with the ex-Reds midfielder seen chuckling on the sidelines.
And his colleagues also failed in trying to hide their laughter, as host Kelly Cates grinned as she delivered a piece to camera.
Chelsea cult hero Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink could also be seen laughing, while United Women’s goalkeeper Mary Earps also cracked out a smile.
Social media was loving the crude chant, as one Twitter user said: “This absolutely cracked me up.”
Another commented: “Jamie Redknapp getting called a w***** on live telly has made my night!”
A third added: “Trying to laugh it off but he’s quaking in his Sketchers.”
Meanwhile this fan simply stated: “He took it pretty well to be fair.”
Redknapp looked to get his own back to United’s fans after the match as he commented on Casemiro’s no-look pass to help set up Anthony Martial’s goal.
He referred to it as a ‘Robert Firmino pass’ in reference to the Liverpool forward, which led Cates to say: “They won’t like that here.”
Responding, Redknapp said: “I don’t care, I’ve taken enough stick tonight.”
