Dejan Kulusevski has only been with Tottenham for seven months but he’s already bravely mocking teammates in public.
On the club’s pre-season tour in South Korea, the ginger from Sweden further endeared himself to supporters by joking about Harry Kane’s record from free-kicks.
One of the most important goals in Kane’s career was a deflected set-piece effort in November, 2014 against Aston Villa.
Since then, the striker – clinical from everywhere else on the pitch – has been unable to find the back of the net from one.
It can leave fans frustrated but Kulusevski, during a question and answer session with teammates Ben Davies and Heung-Min Son, opted to joke about it.
“Hi Harry, this is Dejan Kulusevski speaking and I think you’re one of the best strikers in the world,” he said at an event in South Korea.
“But if we get a free-kick on Wednesday I hope that Sonny takes it. I hope that’s okay with you, sorry!”
The message to Kane left Son and Davies laughing on stage – but the England striker swiftly took revenge.

On that Wednesday, Spurs secured a 6-3 win over a K League XI with Kane netting twice on the night in front of a bumper crowd.
Scoring is nothing new for the England captain but he secured a collector’s item, and ensured Kulusevski had egg on his face, by rifiling home a free-kick.
His low effort made it through a crowd of bodies to made the back of the net bulge.
It may well be, in part, down to the appointment of Gianni Vio, the club’s new set-piece coach.
But if Kane fires a few more blanks it won’t surprise us if Kulusevski will want Son, who grabbed two for his nation in June, taking them.
