Jurgen Klopp laments “crazy” Man Utd situation that could wreck Liverpool’s top four hopes – Mirror Online
Who do Liverpool need to sign to retain the title? Keep up with all the Reds news with our free daily newsletter
Jurgen Klopp has just one word for it: “Crazy”.
Liverpool’s whole season, and their hopes and ambitions for the next, will now come down to a suddenly, bafflingly, congested fixture list that sees Manchester United play three games in five days, then have a week off.
Their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he will have no option but to play his kids in one of those games, and will inevitably leave one of his rival bosses unhappy.
Klopp has no doubt it will be him.
It is what he would do of course. United play Leicester on Tuesday, barely 48 hours after their trip to Villa. Then Liverpool Thursday, in an historic fixture where both sides always play their strongest sides.
No prizes for guessing where the kids will appear. And Klopp knows it: “If Man United is doing it like that, we cannot change that. I expect a strong team against us – and what they do in other games, we obviously have no influence.”

It is just a cruel twist of fate that the Anfield club are now chasing Leicester for the final league spot, and the Reds boss says an insane season has reached an almost inevitable conclusion.
The Reds themselves play their final four games in 10 days, when they have had an almost two week break, but after a victory over Southampton that hinted at a return of the real Liverpool, he insisted things are at least now clear, if not simple.
“Winning four games is pretty much the only chance we have, so that’s what we should try. If we win all four it could be enough, so that is what we have to do,” he explained.
“Everybody is 100 per cent sure Ole Gunnar Solskjaer respects the Premier League 100 per cent, but the situation is now like it is – and I really think it’s crazy what we did with that.
“I know there were not proper solutions, but I think there could be a better situation than that, I am pretty sure. United have three games in five days but then a weekend off.
“So it looks like there could have been a window where we could have done something slightly different. But it is a decision and I understand that he (Ole) doesn’t like that, definitely.”

Klopp is not carping, more accepting that fate, which has intervened so cruelly on the injury front for Liverpool this season, has one final twist for his side.
At least they will go into the United game with some momentum, after a game where Sadio Mane finally scored a goal at Anfield – his first there this year, incredibly, and Thiago got his first for Liverpool.
With both of them at last showing the sort of form that made them world class, Klopp’s side look more like themselves, a situation undoubtedly aided by a strong performance from another new centre half pairing of Nat Phillips and youngster Rhys Williams, who looked comfortable and promising.
It makes for a mouth-watering week, where the visit to Old Trafford at least means something. And the subtext of United stopping their biggest rivals getting the huge benefit of Champions League money is a huge one.
Klopp has no qualms about it. “Man United has only good players. Midfield, wow. Up front, all good players. The only thing we can do now is keep winning, and that’s historically not easy (at Old Trafford) – but we will give it a try.”
Jake Zyrus: Kung akala ng iba joke lang ang pagiging transman ko, it’s not! Bandera | Bandera
“I just said whatever it is that’s in my mind and I think my message was very clear. Again, there are some limitations I also know when you sincerely make a mistake and when you’re intentionally trying to insult me.
“Kahit na public figure ako, I’m still human and I know how to read emotions as well and read yung talagang tina-try na sabihin sa akin,” ang diretsong pahayag ni Jake sa virtual mediacon para sa bago niyang single at music video na “Fix Me.”
“‘Oh you sounded like Charice but I appreciate your voice, Jake. Great job!’ and ‘Oh Charice is back, Jake is gone.’ What do you want now? Long hair? Gown? Siyempre I’m a transgender man so that kind of comment is very insensitive,” patuloy pang pahayag ni Jake.
“It’s kinda making me feel na joke lang ‘tong lahat ng ginagawa ko, na joke lang ‘tong deicsion ko, na joke lang na transman ako. It’s not.
“If you enjoy that and you still can’t move on sa akin as Charice, again, my videos as Charice are on YouTube. Feel free to listen to that. I don’t have a problem with that,” diin pa niya.
Samantala, may vocalization training din si Jake ngayon at may mga adjustment din sa kanyang pagkanta, “I love my falsettos, I enjoyed using it a lot. I’m still training, vocalization, adjusting pa my mid-tones.
“I kind of try to challenge my vocals din and sing some Luke James songs. I enjoy using my falsettos because I couldn’t do that when I started transitioning,” sabi ng singer.
Na-realize naman ng singer na may iba pa pala siyang gustong gawin ngayong may pandemic pa rin, “I used to think na ito ‘yung gagawin ko for the rest of my life. During the pandemic, naisip ko I’m more than an artist pala at marami pa akong gustong gawin pang iba.”
Samantala, ni-release na nga ang music video ng kanta niyang “Fix Me” na tumatalakay sa kanyang anxiety issues, now streaming on Apple Music and Star Music YouTube channel.
“‘Fix Me’ is very personal to me, there are times that I would be asking my partner, ‘do I deserve love?’ I still feel that especially when I’m triggered and every time I sing or hear it, nakaka-relate talaga ako,” ani Jake.
“I started as a pop R&B singer so I thought it’d be nice to release something like that, something that people are familiar with,” chika pa niya.
“It was very hard for me vocally siyempre nag-aadjust and all that. Now it’s starting to stablize so I got really excited to showcase some of my vocal techniques,” aniya pa.
The “Fix Me” MV features the Kapamilya artist in an entrancing setting that gives a peek into his choreographed moves amidst a fresh tune. Edrex Clyde Sanchez directed the video under the production of ECS Films.
Isinulat ng Grammy-winning composer na si Kenneth Mackey, Swedish singer-songwriter na si Andreas Moss, at American record producer na si Joshua Bronleewe ang “Fix Me”.
It was produced by Filipino-American musical director Troy Laureta, who Jake recently nominated for Good Morning America’s Inspiration List in celebration of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
ABS-CBN Music International released the “Fix Me” single early this May, which has been featured in Spotify’s New Music Friday Philippines and Apple Music’s Absolute OPM and New in POP playlists.
Not A Joke: John Kerry Is Worried War In Ukraine Will Distract World Leaders From Climate Change
In less than a minute, John Kerry — President Joe Biden’s climate czar — recently illuminated his relative lack of knowledge of both geopolitical events and international threats this past Monday in an interview that is being widely mocked on the internet. First, he admitted he thought countries like Russia weren’t willing start a war to gain new land and second, he stressed his concern that a war in Ukraine will distract Biden, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and other world leaders from focusing on tackling climate change.
In an interview set to air on BBC UK, the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) flagged that Kerry told the foreign news outlet that he was “concerned about Ukraine because of the people of Ukraine and because of the principles that are at risk, in terms of international law and trying to change boundaries of international law by force.”
“I thought we lived in a world that had said no to that kind of activity. And I hope diplomacy will win,” he stated.
Kerry continued, shifting gears to discuss the true threat teaching the world today — in his mind anyway — climate change.
“But it could have a profound negative impact on the climate obviously,” Kerry said about looming war with Russia, per Fox News. “You have a war and obviously you’re going to have massive emissions consequences to the war. But equally important, you’re going to lose people’s focus, you’re going to lose certainly big country attention because they will be diverted and I think it could have a damaging impact.”
“So, you know, I think hopefully President Putin would realize that in the northern part of his country, they used to live on 66% of the nation that was over frozen land,” Kerry explained, zeroing in on why Russia should care about global warming, “Now it’s thawing. And his infrastructure is at risk, and the people of Russia are at risk, and so I hope President Putin will help us to stay on track with respect for what we need to do for the climate.”

In reaction, dozens of comments on Twitter blasted Kerry for comments.
“Leftist John Kerry is worried that dead Ukrainians will distract from the real problem, the climate!” Townhall columnist and attorney Marina Medvin said, “Yes, seriously. He wants Russia to know that warmer climate is their biggest threat. Yes. He said this.”

“There is a reason John Kerry is a laughable joke in the state of Massachusetts nowadays and the reason is obvious below: caring about climate change more than the loss of lives is silly in the moment. it’s even more silly when you personally bow down to tyrants,” Twitter user @TheFactualPrep tweeted.

Christina Pushaw, a spokeswoman for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), added that it was Kerry’s ideology that led to the Ukraine war in the first place.
“This clown, his ideology, and everything he represents helped cause this entire debacle, so maybe he should sit this one out,” Pushaw tweeted.

Kerry currently serves as a representative for the U.S. on the global stage in a very particular role. As reported by The New York Times in 2020, as U.S. climate czar, Kerry flies around from country to country, hoping to change world leaders’ hearts and minds about the pressing issue of climate change:
On Monday, President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. said he would name Mr. Kerry his special presidential envoy for climate, creating a new cabinet-level position. In that role, Mr. Kerry will need to convince skeptical global leaders — burned by the Trump administration’s hostility toward climate science and its rejection of the 2015 Paris Agreement — that the United States not only is prepared to resume its leadership role but will also stay the course, regardless of the Biden administration’s future.
So far, it seems that Kerry has failed in convincing Putin to pause and think about climate change as the Russian president continues to wage war on Ukraine, targeting civilians and military structure alike. Kerry, the former U.S. Secretary of State, Massachusetts senator, and failed 2004 presidential candidate, talks the talk on reducing fossil fuels but does not necessarily walk the walk. His family has come under scrutiny for his family owning a private jet and taking at least 16 private flights, burning gasoline across the globe.
Kerry has defended his use of private jets — such as the one he took to accept an award in Iceland for heroic efforts for the planet — by saying “If you offset your carbon, it’s the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle.”
Perhaps Kerry can convince the United Nations to sell Putin some carbon credits to help offset his carbon from his new “special military operation,” as Putin calls his full-scale invasion.
