Today is April 1st, and you know what that means… an endless stream of untrue stories flooding the internet or also known as a typical day at CNN.

And speaking of “fake stories,” it turns out that the big Jan 6th story about Trump’s “7 hours of missing phone calls” was a huge hoax.

Ironically, CNN is the network that revealed the hoax, and NO, that is not an “April Fools” joke.

But speaking of April Fools, Don Jr. actually lit the internet on fire with his joke — only it was less of a joke and more of an announcement.

Jr. says we can cancel April Fools because there’s no bigger “joke” than the idiot we have pretending to run the country.

Here’s what Jr said: “April fool’s Day is canceled because nothing could be a bigger joke than the joke that’s running our country right now!!!”

Jr. is right about Joe Biden’s foolishness.

Especially after that disastrous recent European trip, where Biden caused three “national security” issues in two days.

Well, I guess the good news is that one day a year, Biden’s Handlers can use “April Fools” as an excuse for his dementia.

It’s certainly better than that goofy “childhood stutter” nonsense they tried to use.

स्कॉटलैंड के खिलाफ मैच के बाद जब टीम इंडिया की ओर से रवींद्र जडेजा प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस करने आए, तब एक पत्रकार ने उनसे सवाल किया. अगर अफगानिस्तान आने वाले मैच में न्यूजीलैंड को नहीं हरा पाती है, तो आगे क्या? इस पर रवींद्र जडेजा ने सीधा जवाब दिया कि तब तो बैग पैक करके घर जाएंगे, और क्या?

दरअसल, भले ही टीम इंडिया ने लगातार दो बड़ी जीत हासिल करके अपना नेट-रनरेट बेहतर कर लिया हो लेकिन अभी भी उसके लिए राह आसान नहीं है. अगर टीम इंडिया को सेमीफाइनल में पहुंचना है तो उसे नामीबिया को भी बड़े अंतर से हराना होगा. 

अगर ऐसा हो भी जाता है, तो अफगानिस्तान को न्यूजीलैंड पर जीत हासिल करनी होगी. अफगानिस्तान की जीत के साथ ही ग्रुप-2 में ऐसी तीन टीमें होंगी, जिसके प्वाइंट 6 ही होंगे. तब जाकर नेट-रनरेट का गेम बनकर सामने आएगा और उसी वक्त टीम इंडिया को फायदा मिल सकता है. 

टीम इंडिया ने पहले अफगानिस्तान को बड़े अंतर से हराया, बाद में स्कॉटलैंड को सिर्फ 39 बॉल में ही मात दे दी. इसी वजह से टीम इंडिया का नेट-रनरेट अब ग्रुप-2 में सबसे बेहतर हो गया है.

And on the menu this time is Michael Che, co-host of “Weekend Update” on “Saturday Night Live.” During the show’s segment a few days back, Che noted that President Joe Biden reversed former President Donald Trump’s ban on transgender people serving in the military.

As the crowd dutifully responded with applause and cheers, Che continued: “It’s good news — except Biden is calling the policy, ‘Don’t ask, don’t tuck'” — a riff on the former policy known as “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” which prohibited the military from discriminating against gays and lesbians who kept their lifestyles to themselves.

The audience responded with decidedly nervous laughter as Che threw up his hands and haltingly said, “Which is not good news.” After the camera shifted to co-host Colin Jost, Che elicited his own laugh and said, “Whatever.”

What happened next?

Outcry from Che’s fellow leftists was loud and clear. LBGTQ Nation called his joke “transphobic.”

Charlotte Clymer, a lesbian Army vet with Catholics For Choice, lambasted Che and “SNL”: “What is Saturday Night Live’s weird obsession with transphobic nonsense?” Clymer tweeted. “I honestly don’t get it. It’s so lazy and sad. Last night, Michael Che joked about the repeal of the trans ban being called ‘don’t ask, don’t tuck’ — who is this ‘joke’ for?”

Clymer added, “For all the scaremongering over trans people, it never ceases to be incredibly creepy the way some cis people are obsessed with our bodies. It’s gross and weird and creepy.”

Others responded similarly:

Neither Che nor “Saturday Night Live” have commented about the joke, Salon reported. But you know who did run a report on it? NBC News — which happens to be on the same TV network as SNL.

In fact, NBC News posted a number of tweets about the controversy, on its own Twitter page as well as twice on NBCOut — prompting one commenter to ask, “How many times are you going to tweet this, NBC News?”

Not the first time for Che

Salon said Che has faced previous criticism for anti-trans humor, noting that in 2019 he called Caitlyn Jenner by the celeb’s former name (i.e., “dead naming”) and misgendered the former Olympic champion.

The outlet also said Che was criticized for using a transphobic slur in his 2016 stand-up special “Michael Che Matters.”

Anything else?

One might find it interesting — or perhaps not — that a number of Twitter users vigorously defended Che and SNL:

But one also wonders how enthusiastic their entreaties would be if a conservative had uttered the same joke.

Nollywood actress, Joke Jigan has once again cried out over the situation of the estate where she lives.

KFN recalls that a few weeks ago, the mother of one lamented bitterly on Instagram over the bad condition of the estate she resides in Lagos after a heavy downpour.

According to Joke in a recent post on her Instagram page, it has been raining all day and she is scared and contemplating on whether to go home or sleep in her shop.

This she said is because of how flooded the estate is and how their cars will suffer in the stagnant water.

Sharing a photo of what the estate looks like when it rains, Joke wrote;

“This day rain no reach today o! I Dey fear to go house like this sef abi make sleep for shop??? Na only God know as my estate be like this!!! I pity our innocent cars!”

According to the mother of one, her white husband and the father of her child gave her the house as a gift for her 27th birthday.
