An Orlando couple adopted Lupin, the kitten, when he was two months old. Lupin is a gorgeous house panther, a Bombay kitten with a shiny black nose, whiskers, and bright copper eyes. While Bombay cats originated in Kentucky, they resemble tiny domestic black panthers.

Very quickly, the kitten’s mom, Chrissy, discovered that he has “orange cat energy,” with constant amewsing antics. We know all about that!

“Living with a black cat is definitely entertaining at all times. ” she said.

A Kitten Thief of Hearts

Lupin’s name came from the Lupin TV series starring French actor Omar Sy, who plays a professional gentleman thief. Taking after his name, the kitten grew into a sometimes-sock thief. But he also quickly stole his mama’s heart and became her “Bombay bestie.” His daily shenanigans have also stolen thousands of hearts online.

At five months, the kitten became his mom’s constant companion and best friend. 

“I absolutely love this silly little guy! Although he’s only 5 months old, he has the biggest personality for a cat, ever. He’s my little pain in the behind best friend. ”

An all-around animal lover, Chrissy found that “cats are the best type of pet ever.” At five months, Lupin was mostly sweet, but still a rambunctious kitten.

Daily Black Cat Shenanigans

At seven months old, he was constantly being hilarious, wanting to play anytime he saw Mom. He’s a wild child who loves to strike funny poses and give a “bombastic side eye.” Rather than a mini-panther, Chrissy says he’s more of a “crab-walking tiger,” arching his back comically.

Do cats do this to make their humans laugh? We think they do!

Other times, he’s like a parrot perched on her shoulder.

But Lupin’s superpower is crab-walking, a skill that has made thousands laugh online.

“Oh crap, there’s a door there!? Lupin is just the goofiest cat ever. Not a day goes by where he’s not doing something hilarious. ,” Chrissy shared.

Chrissy and her family are so happy with their kitty and know for sure that black cats are good luck. He brings daily joy and grew into such a handsome house panther.

The Purrfect Companion

As he grew, Lupin also evolved into quite the Parkour expert. Running through the home at top speed, he bounces off the walls. You never know what this comical cat will do next. And, unlike other pets, he doesn’t ever need to go outside, a purrk that Chrissy and many cat lovers appreciate!

Britney Spears is reflecting on her all-denim look with Justin Timberlake.

In her new memoir The Woman in Me,per People, the singer admitted that she thinks the outfits she and then-boyfriend Timberlake wore to the 2001 American Music Awards were “tacky.”

Spears opened up about the outfits, where she said they were partially inspired by her Southern roots, where “moms love to round up the kids and say, ‘Listen, we’re going to church today, so we’re all going to color-coordinate.'”

“We should match! Let’s do denim-on-denim!” said Spears when she learned that Justin was going to be wearing a denim look to the AMAs, but noted that she wasn’t necessarily serious about her comment.

“At first, honestly, I thought it was a joke,” she said. “I didn’t think my stylist was going to do it, and I never thought Justin was going to do it with me. But they both went all in.”

“When he put it on, I thought, ‘Whoa! I guess we’re really doing this!'” recalled Spears of Timberlake’s Canadian tuxedo, assembled by his stylist Steven Gerstein.

This isn’t the first time the couple had coordinated their outfits, “but with the matching denim, we blew it up,” said Spears, who also shared that the outfit was less than comfortable.

“My corset had me sucked in so tight under my denim gown, I was about to fall over.”

Overall, Britney is fond of the look, despite some criticism it may have faced.

“I get that it was tacky — but it was also pretty great in its own way, and I’m also happy to see it parodied as a Halloween costume,” she shared.

“I’ve heard Justin get flak for the look,” she said. “On one podcast where they were teasing him about it, he said, ‘You do a lot of things when you’re young and in love.'”

“And that’s exactly right. We were giddy, and those outfits reflected that,” she concluded.

And before long Messi confirmed his decision to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami, 16 years after the ex-England captain swapped Madrid for LA.

SunSport took the trip down to Miami Beach to speak to local muscle men and beach babes about the superstar signing.

What I found was a mixed response; some were quick to admit they had little care for it, others could not believe their luck.

Strength and conditioning coach Joshua, 30, said: “I’m ecstatic, I think that he’s going to get the better opportunities here in Miami, because we’re all about that Latin and mixed. 

“And what do you call that? Condiments. So the sauce is coming to Miami.”

But 23-year-old Michael said: “I actually heard about it just 30 minutes ago and I really don’t have any thoughts, because I don’t watch sports.” 

Messi, 35, will travel Stateside having won it all in his career, the Champions League, six Ballon d’Ors and as of last year the World Cup.

So there has never been a better time to experiment in the US.

Seven, 28, who began squatting with weights and doing kick-ups as he spoke, said: “I think it’s a business move.

“Messi has pretty much completed every cycle of soccer, which means Miami and soccer is going to change.”

So just hours after my day out at the beach, I returned to the strip to get a sense of what match day was like.

But Miami’s match – which they lost 3-1 away to New England – was nowhere to be shown at the sports bars.

Instead, the ice hockey and basketball dominated the screens, an attention struggle Beckham & Co will be faced with.

Robert said: “There are a lot of distractions out here. You see with the Heat, the Dolphins, the more they win, the more talent that comes into it. 

“But there’s just so many other things to focus on so he would have to cause a stir.”

But Emalio, 26, argued: “I think it will make a difference in America.

“I think it will bring a bigger audience from outside of the country to watch the MLS.”

Even the most casual of fan football – or should I say soccer out here – will be tempted to watch Messi in the flesh.

Ice hockey-mad Tyler, 30, said: “I’ll go to a game just to see what the hype’s about.

“I’ve been to a game before, they’re fun but to be honest, I don’t really care much.” 

Friends Amelia and Maria – both 19 – will line up for tickets due to their Argentine family roots.

Maria said: “It’s crazy, my parents are going insane.” 

But the new and existing fans of Messi will have to wait for the modern-day great to holiday before he lines up in pink and black.

He said: “I want to go on vacation and then we’ll start again.”

But Messi will no doubt be given a heroes welcome when he first touches down in the land of the free as the latest star of the MLS.

Moms and dads are superheroes. That doesn’t mean they’re incapable of burning a grilled cheese, crying or accidentally letting their kids go to school wearing their clothes inside out. That just means that no matter how challenging it is to balance everything, they somehow do. And what’s even more incredible is that many of them manage to maintain a great sense of humor along the way too.

No one has ever said being a parent is easy. Essentially all of your free time (and disposable income) is now dedicated to taking care of your little ones, and there’s no compensation or appreciation involved. Being a mom or dad never stops being challenging, no matter how much people want to tell you “it gets better after the terrible twos!” It’s messy and exciting and exhausting and rewarding. It’s all worth it to have a mini-me who loves you more than anything in the world and who you get to watch grow into an amazing person that you’re proud of.

But one essential trait parents need to ensure they can get through the day without ripping out their hair or dying from embarrassment is a great sense of humor. You can’t sweat the small stuff, and you have to be able to admit that you’re never going to be perfect. (Anyone who says they are is lying!) And it’s much better to laugh through the pain and exhaustion than to try to keep it all together. A great parent is just someone who’s doing their best.

To learn more about what it’s like to be a fabulous parent who’s open online about the joys and struggles of having kids, we reached out to CJ Kelsey, also known as That Mom Tho on Twitter and Instagram. CJ is a mom of two who works in the healthcare industry and has been able to grow a following online through sharing her hilarious experiences. She was also kind enough to have a chat with Bored Panda about the importance of being able to laugh as a parent. 

“A sense of humor definitely helps because parenting can be hilarious!” CJ shared. “Children are naturally honest and curious– these two traits combined lead to a great deal of funny situations.”

We were also curious about how CJ got started sharing hilarious parenting stories and experiences online. “I started my Twitter account as a place to make jokes anonymously and never expected it to lead to anything,” the mom shared. Today, however, she has over 47k followers on Twitter, nearly 18k on Instagram, and 13k followers on Facebook! 

And as far as what she loves most about her online presence, CJ says, “My favorite response to anything I write is when someone tells me they thought they were alone in their experience and happy to read I am going through the same thing.”

CJ also shared some wise words for all the parents out there who might be worried about trying to be perfect. “I wanted to be the perfect parent when expecting my first and quickly discovered there’s no such thing,” she told Bored Panda. “My advice is to be kinder to yourself. Understand that it is a constant learning experience and that children mostly just want to know they are loved.”

We all know there’s no such thing as a perfect anything, let alone a perfect parent. But that doesn’t stop countless mommy bloggers and family vloggers from trying to portray their lives as effortless and flawless. 6 out of 10 parents say they feel pressure from social media to be perfect moms and dads, and 40% of moms admit they compare themselves to the curated lives of parents they see online.

We teach our children how harmful social media is and that comparison is the thief of joy, but why is it so hard to practice what we preach? When it comes to some of the “mistakes” every parent makes, Steven John at Insider says there are 30 extremely common ones that no mom or dad will be able to avoid. (And that’s okay!) These include letting our kids fall or get hurt, packing our children’s schedules too full, giving our little ones too many choices to make, forgetting important items when going to school or soccer practice, praising them too much, and trying to talk above them. “Kids catch onto more than you think, despite the diction enabled by your sagacity, and can end up hearing things little ears shouldn’t,” John writes.
