The Oyo State Police Command has invited skit maker, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa, also known as Trinity Guy, in connection with a prank video that involved a minor.

This was made known in a tweet on the command’s official handle on Thursday.

“Popular content creator, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa, AKA Trinity, has been contacted and invited to the Oyo State Police Command in connection with the disturbing viral skit content making the rounds across the Social Media space concerning a female minor. Updates would be provided soon,” the tweet read.

Adisa had caught the attention of the spokesman of the Nigerian Police, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who requested his arrest over a recent prank video where he scared passersby with ‘gunshots’

The Force PRO had previously warned skit makers who rely on pranks for their content, urging them to regulate their actions as they threaten Nigerians’ lives. On Monday, he posted a video on Instagram calling for his arrest.

He urged people affected by the skitmaker’s’ pranks to report him to the authorities.

“This doesn’t make any sense, and I think the guy should have been arrested. Those individuals who feel the heat and fear of the pranks should report the pranksters, as many of their pranks are criminal, immoral, and evil. These women have a good case against him,” he wrote.

On Twitter, he added, “We have warned them severally. When nothing happens, nothing happens, but when something happens, consequences will surely follow. They will soon realise the dangers attributed to the excessiveness of doing unguided pranks.”

It is not the first time a Nigerian skit maker has got into trouble over an extreme or life-threatening prank. In August 2022, Eyinatayo Iluyomade, a 19-year-old Lagos-based comedian, was arrested and charged to court for an expensive joke.

The football star and the hitmaker, 33, were initially linked when he attended her performance at Arrowhead Stadium, which took place this past July.

The professional athlete later revealed that he tried and failed to slip the Karma singer his phone number after the show.

Kelce was previously in a long-term relationship with influencer Kayla Nicole that lasted from 2017 until 2022.

Swift has been linked to numerous individuals in the past, and her most recent romance with actor Joe Alwyn ran from 2016 until this past April.

The tight end eventually managed to get in contact with the singer, and a source told Entertainment Tonight that the two were casually seeing one another.

Another insider stated: ‘Travis has been into Taylor for a while and definitely has a crush on her. He is a simple guy that is very funny, charismatic, chill, and loves playing football.’

Kelce’s older brother Jason, who also plays in the NFL, also refused to make any public comments about his sibling’s relationship during several public appearances that took place last month.

Swift later attended a Chiefs game that took place on September 24, during which she was seated next to her rumored boyfriend’s mother, Donna.

The Maroon singer was joined by several of her celebrity friends, including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, during the event.

Neither Kelce nor Swift have directly confirmed the news about their romance to the public as of yet.

‘A**hole’ dog adopted after Texas shelter’s hilarious Facebook post WICHITA FALLS, Texas – A Texas dog has a new home after a hilarious Humane Society post went viral online. The post from the Humane Society of Wichita County describes Eddie the dog as an “a**hole.” “Eddie hates other dogs, he’s 17 pounds and could take on a Rottweiler and win,” said the post last Thursday. The post goes on to say that if Eddie had an accent that he would sound like he is from the Bronx and would be able to hold his own in the bar fight. “If you think you are man enough to adopt him, please be out guest. We want Eddie out of here because he scares our big dogs,” the post ends. The original has been shared more than 70,000 times on Facebook. It worked too. Linda Brooks says she saw the post and took her daughter from Cleburne to Witchita Falls to pick up the pup. Less than 8 hours after Eddie’s photo went up online, the Human Society posted a photo of Eddie with Linda’s daughter Taryn. The harsh words seemed to have an effect. The shelter originally posted about Eddie on Facebook on Oct. 30 saying the Dachshund mix was a “little nervous,” but very sweet. It wasn’t until the shelter got real that he found a new home. The Brooks’ say they have received a great deal of attention since adopting the pup and even started a Facebook page of their own.
