Akshay Kumar is celebrating his 56th birthday on Saturday, September 9. His friends from the industry, including Ajay Degn, Suniel Shetty, Ritesih Deshmukh, and Paresh Rawal, took to their X (previously known as Twitter) accounts, and penned heartfelt wishes for the superstar.
Among these wishes, the one written by Ajay Devn is hilarious and is garnering the maximum attention on the micro-blogging platform. Sharing a photo of them from the sets of Sooryavanshi, the Singham actor wrote, “Kabhi helicopter se latak ke, kabhi coal mine mein ghuske (sometimes by hanging from a helicopter or by entering a coal mine)…If you are in need of rescue, contact @akshaykumar. Wishing success for all your missions this year brother. Happy Birthday!”.
In Sooryavanshi, Akshay was seen hanging from a helicopter and in his next film Mission Raniganj – The Great Bharat Rescue, Akshay is portraying the mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who rescued 65 mining engineers during the Raniganj coalfields collapse in 1989. The film, which stars Parineeti Chopra as the leading lady, will be the third release of Kumar this year after Selfiee and OMG 2 as it hits theatres on October 6.

Akshay’s Hera Pheri co-stars Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal also wished the Khiladi Kumar. The Main Hoon Na actor wrote, “Wish you a super Happy Birthday Akki @akshaykumar Have a great one my friend!!”, while Dream Girl 2 actor posted, “A very Happy Birthday to @akshaykumar. Live long and Strong”. Hera Pheri 3 has been in the news since last year when it was reported that Farhad Samji is going to direct the threequel and fans demanded his removal from the franchise.
Apart from Mission Raniganj and Hera Pheri 3, Akshay Kumar also has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Housefull 5, and the Hindi remake of Suriya-starrer Soorarai Pottru in his pipeline.
