2022 was a great year for country music.
We had a ton of great releases, a few artists and bands that took massive leaps in their careers, like Zach Bryan, 49 Winchester, Charles Wesley Godwin, and Flatland Cavalry, and we also got to enjoy Turnpike Troubadours first fill year back on stage after their hiatus back in 2019.
However, if you’ve been paying attention to the country music social media world, there has been one artist in particular that made a ton of noise in the later part of the year…
And it’s Lainey Wilson.
It’s no secret that Wilson took some massive steps in her career herself last year, as she’s quickly become one of the most popular female country artists in mainstream country music ahead of the release of her Bell Bottom Country album. She also won a CMA Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year this past fall.
On top of that, she also made her Yellowstone debut as Abby, the country singer who begins to date Ryan (Ian Bohen).
Yeah, yeah, both of those are huge reasons why Wilson has become a star, but there’s another reason in particular that’s set herself apart from other artists…
And well… it’s her butt.
It was the talk of the town on TikTok last month, which prompted a number of hilarious viral responses from Lainey herself.

And of course, in good ol’ Lainey Wilson fashion, she played along and took it all as a joke, delivering this hilarious meme:
And she didn’t stop there, as she tweeted out yesterday her one New Year’s resolution:
