An area of Birmingham has gone viral after a hilarious addition was made to its main sign. Frankley, on the southern fringes of the city, has been getting national attention after a joker made a change to the sign, which was then posted on social media. Under the sign saying ‘Frankley’, welcoming people to the area, was added ‘my dear I don’t give a damn’, a reference to the famous line from classic film Gone with the Wind. The joke went viral on social media after being posted over the weekend, attracting tens of thousands of likes and reposts, with many thinking it was, well, Frankley brilliant. The identity of the prankster remains a mystery, however, with people on social media now trying to find out who was behind it. The addition seems to have appeared over the weekend when it was noticed by amused locals. One X users replied simply: “Brilliant!”. Someone else made the gag that Hollywood was “only 20 minutes away”, referring to the Worcestershire village just south of Birmingham. Another commenter added: “This is superb. Knighthood for whoever did that.” Ian Wacogne said: “My brain has made this joke every time I’ve gone past this sign for years. And finally someone (not me) has made it real.”

OZZY OSBOURNE’s ‘Crazy Train’ Featured In ‘Inside Out 2’ Trailer – BLABBERMOUTH.NET
Ozzy Osbourne‘s classic song “Crazy Train” is featured in the trailer for “Inside Out 2”.
The sequel to the 2015 movie that starred Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling and an ensemble voice cast as various emotions inside a young girl’s head is due in June 2024.
“Crazy Train” has been licensed numerous times, including for the films “Megamind” and “Magic Mike”, as well as the TV shows “The Osbournes”, “The Office” and “The Simpsons”.
“Crazy Train” originally appeared on Ozzy‘s debut solo album, 1980’s “Blizzard Of Ozz”, which was certified quintuple platinum in the U.S. in February 2019 after accumulating five million certified units. The recognition came more than two decades since the LP was certified quadruple platinum (August 15, 1997).
“Blizzard Of Ozz” was reissued in 2011 in a definitive edition that restored and remastered the original recordings. It was made available separately or as part of a deluxe box set with 1981’s “Diary Of A Madman” that featured both albums on CD and vinyl, a 100-page coffee table book, a documentary on DVD and a “full-size detailed replica of Ozzy‘s iconic cross.”
The two albums were recorded soon after Ozzy was booted from BLACK SABBATH and marked his brief but legendary collaboration with late guitar hero Randy Rhoads.
The 2011 reissues of both albums came with previously unreleased bonus tracks and were restored and remastered from the original analog recordings. The albums restored the bass and drum tracks played respectively by Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake, which were controversially removed for a 2002 reissue by Ozzy‘s wife and manager Sharon over a royalties dispute.
Ozzy has lent his voice to animated films and TV show before such as “Bubble Guppies”, “Fish Hooks” and “Gnomeo And Juliet”, while playing himself in live-action movies like “Ghostbusters”, “Austin Powers In Goldmember” and others.
Despite all that, plus starring in the legendary reality series “The Osbournes”, Ozzy told The Pulse Of Radio some time ago that he doesn’t like being onscreen. “‘The Osbournes’ was like an experiment that went way over what I ever expected it to do,” he said. “Sharon and I have been offered so much TV stuff, but I can’t stand it, you know. I mean, I don’t like to see me on TV, I don’t like to see me on film or anything, you know.”

Iconic chocolate bar is discontinued leaving fans furious as they ask Nestlé: ‘Is this some sort of sick joke?’ | Daily Mail Online
Nestle UK have confirmed that they are scrapping a popular chocolate bar and fans are gutted, claiming they are ‘going to riot’.
The Caramac has been axed by the brand after they revealed it’s ‘not as popular as others’ in their range.
It’s been a lifelong favourite for many Brits who are devastated by the news, demanding that the confectionary company bring it back.
The caramel-based chocolate bar was created by Mackintosh’s before the brand was taken over by Nestle in 1988 – it first appeared on shelves back in 1959, making it a staple for Generation X and beyond.
After 64 years, the iconic bar will be disappearing forever, so if you’re a big fan, make sure to stock up before it’s too late.
The Caramac has been axed by the brand after they revealed it’s ‘not as popular as others’ in their range
A Nestle spokesperson told MailOnline ‘We are very sorry to disappoint fans of Caramac.
‘There has been a steady decline in its sales over the past few years and we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue it.
‘We know fans will be disappointed to see it go, but this change will enable us to focus on our best-performing brands, as well as develop exciting new innovations to delight our consumers’ tastebuds.’
One outraged X user questioned ‘Caramac being discontinued Is this some sort of sick joke???’ with crying emojis.
The brand confirmed the disappointing news by responding ‘We’re sorry to hear you’re disappointed. Unfortunately it wasn’t as popular as others in the range, so it’s been discontinued’.
Another person wrote ‘woke up to the news that caramac is being discontinued and it quite frankly has ruined my day,’ meanwhile someone simply said ‘Rest in peace Caramac’.
The announcement prompted one fan to reminisce on their childhood, tweeting ‘My earliest memory of Caramac was having a Caramac Easter egg as a kid, contained two (maybe three) bars. Eating the whole lot at once and being so sick.’
Others replied ‘Loved it soo much,’ ‘Can’t believe my fav choc is to be discontinued’ and ‘A true classic’.
Despite the brand claiming it’s lost popularity, people have taken to social media to ask Nestle to go back on the decision
Despite the brand claiming it’s lost popularity, people have taken to social media to ask Nestle to go back on the decision.
One woman pleaded ‘@NestleUKI Very very disappointed that Caramac will soon be unavailable to buy.
‘I buy a pack of 4 every week with my food shop. I hope if enough people complain maybe will reconsider?’
One angry chocolate lover wrote ‘Nestle have discontinued the Caramac and I am going to riot’.
Another fumed ‘@NestleUKI What the actual f*** do you think you’re doing..!?? Please tell me that the rumours of #Caramac demise are untrue.
‘You can’t take something I’ve been eating since for almost 60 years.’
The brand simply apologised for having to give the loyal customer the disappointed news.
Someone else chimed in with ‘Was my late fathers favourite 🙁 you can’t take Caramac’s away’.
The outrage comes after the chocolate brand announced it has started to work on new products for people who might be on weight-loss drugs to ensure it doesn’t suffer if people start cutting calories and stop buying its candy
Another wrote ‘First Toffo, then Tooty Frooties and now Caramac, all killed off by Nestle.
‘I’m gutted, Caramac is one of the unsung heroes of the confectionery aisle.’
The outrage comes after the chocolate brand announced it has started to work on new products for people who might be on weight-loss drugs to ensure it doesn’t suffer if people start cutting calories and stop buying its candy.
Nestle shares fell last month after Walmart, the world’s biggest retailer, said it saw a pullback in food consumption thanks to people taking appetite-suppressing drugs.
‘We’re working already on a wide range of products that could serve as companion products,’ the Swiss food giant’s CEO Mark Schneider said during an earnings briefing.
The confectionary company has also faced backlash after slimming down their Christmas chocolate tubs by up to 17 per cent in the last five years, along with Mars Incorporated and Cadbury.
Nestle’s Quality Street tubs weighed 720g in 2018 – they now weigh 600g.

‘Becoming Karl Lagerfeld’ Gets 3-Minute Standing Ovation in Cannes: ‘Watching Daniel Bruhl Transform Was…Crazy’
Cannes stood up for Daniel Brühl, as his new Disney+ show “Becoming Karl Lagerfeld” earned a 3-minute standing ovation on Sunday. Premiering out of competition, it captures the late German designer before morphing into the instantly recognizable figure that took pop culture by storm. And, courted by young Jacques de Bascher (Théodore Pellerin), finally opening up for love.
Local viewers enjoyed the spectacle, laughing at Lagerfeld’s awkwardness or at Yves Saint Laurent’s (Arnaud Valois) clumsy attempts at romancing de Bascher. The verdict? A “fun” and “entertaining” new show, declared Canneseries audience members, happy to share their enthusiasm with Variety even despite the language barrier: “C’est genial!”
The screening, which started with a joyful fashion show similar to Lagerfeld’s collection for Chloé in the 1970s – spotlighted in the first episode – attracted just about every celebrity in town. Including “Beverly Hills, 90210” alumni Jason Priestley and “Riverdale’s” Vanessa Morgan, in Cannes to present “Wild Cards.”
“I don’t care about designers or labels. For me, it’s more about what I feel good in. I will try something on and it doesn’t matter if it’s super cheap or super expensive. There is all this pressure about [how you present yourself] but I never let it affect me,” she admitted to Variety . Danish actress – and juror – Sofie Gråbøl, previously at Canneseries with “Prisoner,” actually came wearing Lagerfeld’s favorite color combination. “I am not a fashion person, but even I knew about the black and white!,” she laughed. “I am looking forward to learning more about him. For an artist, any person can be interesting. And any story – as long as it’s well told.” Gråbøl wasn’t the only one who appreciated the chance to get to know the actual person behind these famous sunglasses and fingerless gloves. “I started out as a model and I am still into fashion. I love it! But the thing about Lagerfeld was also that he was so unique, so creative and he always did what he wanted to do. That’s very inspiring to me,” said “The Zweiflers’” Daniel Hernandez. “I am always interested in the person behind it all, because it allows you to understand the decisions they have been making.” Juror Macarena García, seen in “La Mesías,” gushed over Brühl. “I just love this actor.” “When I watch a story based on actual people, I don’t expect the actors to mimic them. It’s more about capturing the energy and the charisma. I do want to know more about what’s hiding behind ‘the’ Karl Lagerfeld. I don’t know that much about his personality, his life and his inner conflicts.” Thanks to the show, which will launch on Disney+ in June, it’s finally bound to change.
But, before the screening, “Lagerfeld’s” cast talked to Variety about the challenge of portraying an icon. Or rather, multiple icons – starting with “Triangle of Sadness” actor Sunnyi Melles taking on Marlene Dietrich. “Dietrich was 70 years old at the time [when she met Lagerfeld, as depicted in the second episode]. I was so touched to be able to be like her, to express the thoughts she had. It’s such a wonderful script. You always want to do your best as an actor and I wanted to do my best for Marlene,” she admitted. “I actually knew Lagerfeld personally. He used to live in the house of my mother-in-law. He took a picture of me when I was pregnant with my daughter, who is with me tonight.” Jeanne Damas was “afraid” when approaching her role. “Paloma Picasso is still alive! But in the end, I was free to create my own Paloma. The secret was perhaps in trying to use her ‘code,’ her red lipstick and her sense of style, and keep it joyful,” she said, also praising Brühl. “Watching Daniel transform was… crazy. He speaks French with a German accent, but when he was Karl, it was even a different accent!” Alex Lutz, cast as Lagerfeld’s foe Pierre Bergé, added: “The biggest challenge was to forget about the legend. We had to leave it behind, instead of having it dangle in front of us all the time.”
