Community wasn’t funny enough for Chevy Chase, says Chevy Chase

December 8, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Chevy Chase has added a new wrinkle to his dishonorable discharge from Community in 2012. As it turns out, he never really thought the show was that funny to begin with.

By the time Maron brings up Dan Harmon’s beloved cult series about an hour into the podcast, Chase seems surprised to hear the title at all. The former Fletch had just finished talking about how much he loves his life, which consists primarily of spending time with his wife and kids, when Maron brings up Community being a “big deal”—again, to Chase’s surprise. “I kind of forget about that,” Chase said of being asked to be on the show. “They wanted me, so I said ‘yes.’”

Chase lasted 83 episodes on the sitcom before creator Dan Harmon fired him for using the N-word on set. The actor sarcastically asked aloud if his character would start using racist epithets. For Chase, though, the show could have been better to begin with.

“I honestly felt the show wasn’t funny enough for me, ultimately. I felt a little bit constrained,” Chase told Maron. “Everybody had their bits, and I thought they were all good, but it just wasn’t hard-hitting enough for me.”

“I didn’t mind the character. I just felt that it was—I felt happier being alone. I just didn’t want to be surrounded by that table, every day, with those people. It was too much.”

Despite the Harmon-Chase feud making its way into the discourse occasionally, Chase says he’s “okay” with Harmon but has not seen him since 2012. “I have no idea if we’re okay,” he said. “I’ve never been not okay. He’s kind of a pisser.”

Last year, after news broke about a Community movie supposedly coming to Peacock, Harmon said he didn’t “even know if it’s legal for [Chase] to come back.”

“That may be out of my hands,” he continued. “Maybe something I sign for with an insurance company, I really don’t know.”

For what it’s worth, Chase does say that he and Bill Murray are okay these days. Maybe there’s hope for Community yet.

5 Crazy Facts About Mini Cows

December 8, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Whether you’re running a few cattle on limited land or want a unique pet or two, mini cows has become the rave for being cute, efficient, and easygoing! Here are a few things to know about mini cattle and why they’ve become such a popular idea.

Size of a Mini Cow

Miniature cattle have been selectively bred to be one-third to one-half the size of standard cattle. At three years of age, a micro mini cow is considered 36 inches and under at the hip. Standard mini cows are between 37 and 42 inches tall at the hip, and midsize mini cows are between 43 and 48 inches at the hip. So while these cattle are significantly smaller than normal, they aren’t necessarily calf-size forever either.

Gentleness

Mini cattle are known to make great pets and are considered much easier to handle! Their gentle dispositions make them easy to care for and train, as well as easier on the land. They naturally have a sweet temperament and make a great option for people just getting started with cattle or families with children.

Efficiency

Compared to 1,200-1,500 pound standard cattle, a 500-800 pound mini cow can thrive on about one to two acres per animal, and they consume about a third of the grain that a standard cow requires. This makes them much more efficient and superior when it comes to feed conversion.

Miniature cattle are either select reproductions of the older animals or a result of several crossbreed programs. The International Miniature Cattle Breeder’s Registry serves to add value to the quality breeding of mini cattle, and this organization recognizes more than 26 unique breeds worldwide. These breeds include mini Belted Galloways, Dexters, Zebus, Jerseys, Pandas, Herefords, Angus, Longhorns, Highlands, Holsteins and many more!

Cost

The initial price of mini cattle will vary depending on the breed, age, size, sex, markings and color; but that number can range from $1,500 to $8,000. While a mini hereford may run between $1,750 and $3,500, a mini highland could cost up to $8,000. However, the initial cost may be worth it because they have so many advantages!

Greg Gutfeld Takes Epic Swipe at Ex-Fox News Host Geraldo – Live Audience Bursts Into Laughter

December 7, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

In one fell swoop, Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld managed to take down three adversaries in one sentence on Friday: Geraldo Rivera, Don Lemon and the cohort of striking writers and actors picketing on the streets of Los Angeles.

Missing all three, Gutfeld said, was akin to missing jock itch.

The viral moment came during a monologue about a striking Cinnabon in Los Angeles. TL;DR version of that: Employees of the store are protesting the fact the owner won’t let them wear pins or flags that make a political statement, including LGBT-themed merch. Hell hath no fury like a low-wage Angelino deprived of his or her right to protest, apparently, so patrons will have to go to one of the 672 other Cinnabon locations for full cinnamon-bun service.

The segment Monday on “Gutfeld!” began with the host noting the subject of his monologue was a “strike going on that could affect a business near and dear to us” in Los Angeles, followed by the revelation he wasn’t talking about the writer’s and actor’s strike.

“Did you think I was talking about the writers’ strike?” Gutfeld said. “Do you people even care?”

No, they did not, jeering the striking thespians and scribes.

They did get a good laugh at this one, though: “Missing Hollywood writers is up there with missing Geraldo, Don Lemon and jock itch.”

Ouch:

“Whew! It’s never over,” co-host Tyrus said. No, it apparently isn’t.

Well, cue the hue and cry from the media.

Quoth The Wrap, a Hollywood trade outlet: “And there it was, a stunning triple takedown of unionized writers (which ‘Gutfeld!’ does not employ); Gutfeld’s recently fired former ‘The Five’ colleague Rivera, who has hinted at a rift with his co-host as the reason he left Fox; and former CNN anchor Don Lemon, for some reason, by putting each in the same category as a common fungal infection.”

What, is The Wrap implying they aren’t in the same league?

It’s worth noting that Geraldo has all but said Gutfeld was the reason he left.

“There has been a growing tension that goes beyond editorial differences and personal annoyances and gripes. It’s not worth it to me,” Rivera said when discussing his departure in June.

Then, in July, he told “The View” that he had a “very toxic relationship with another of the cast members“ on “The Five,” which was the reason for his departure.

Media outlets were less circumspect when it came to mentioning that the rift was between Rivera and Gutfeld, with Radar Online reporting the two had “knockdown drag-out fights” on set.

“Geraldo and Greg do not get along. That is obvious to anyone who watches ‘The Five.’ But what people didn’t see on television is how often that tension spilled over to off-the-camera,” a Fox News insider told the gossip outlet.

Do you miss Geraldo on Fox News?

Animal sequel: Crazy ‘stealth vs war’ theory that could lead to Ranbir’s ‘Park’ carnage

December 7, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

has caused a mass hysteria and is on an unstoppable run at the box office since its release.
Animal  The Ranbir Kapoor starrer has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark on its first day and there are high chances that it will surpass the Rs 200 crore mark on its second day. ##JUMPLINK## Animal sequel As Animal continues to rule the box office, fans have already begun asking for its sequel and shooting fan theories in the comment sections of several social media threads.
Even director Sandeep Reddy Vanga said that he would dive deeper into the characters and storytelling of Animal if the film worked, which is definitely happening right now.
I watched the FDFS for Animal and here are my predictions for the plot and continuation of its story and sequel, Animal Park. 1. The park There must be a reason behind the name – Animal Park.
And one of the reasons might be the family and new characters that would get introduced, seeking revenge on one another. (Spoilers ahead; tread with caution) In the film, we saw Aziz the butcher, Ranvijay’s doppelganger, both played by Ranbir Kapoor, killing one of Ranbir’s henchmen and announcing marriage with his elder brother’s wife. Aziz’s elder brother, Abrar (played by Bobby Deol), already had two wives and multiple kids, along with many of his own siblings in the family with their respective kids. They could all declare war against Ranvijay for killing the eldest member of the family, Abrar, causing total chaos and annihilation. 2. The illusion or stealth In the film, we saw Ranvijay’s wife (played by Rashmika) leaving him after all the bloodshed. She might go to an unknown place to spend her life in solitude, where Aziz finds her, apologises, and starts manipulating her slowly, turning her against her own family, which will eventually destroy Ranvijay. 3. The carnage The previous point mentioned Aziz’s stealth mode, but he might decide to wage a full-fledged war against his own bloodline, causing Ranvijay to activate his ‘carnage’ mode. Ranbir’s Ranvijay character has already showcased the limits he could cross to protect his family, but it would be interesting to see how much more ‘savage’ he can get. Author
