If leading his team to the playoffs at 9-8 in what many thought would be a rebuilding year in 2022 was any indication, age hasn’t slowed Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll down one bit. At soon to be 72 years old, Carroll remains as good as any head coach in the NFL, and his ability to stay current apparently also extends to the playing field itself.

During Seahawks practice on Thursday, the team shared that Pete Carroll made a cameo at quarterback, showing that he still had some of his athletic and improvisational skills by throwing on the move, directing traffic and even tossing a couple of touchdown passes. Though he didn’t face much of anything in terms of a pass rush — and some passes may have been cleverly edited — it was quite the impressive showing for a man Carroll’s age.

Carroll’s live arm is attributable in part to his days as a high school quarterback at Redwood High School in Larkspur, Calif. As a multi-position player who also played wide receiver and defensive back, Carroll’s playing career would eventually culminate in his playing free safety at the University of the Pacific. Carroll would make the move to coaching shortly afterwards, a profession he has now devoted a half-century to.

Carroll’s on-field highlights were followed by mock condemnations from Snoop Dogg, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and comedian Will Ferrell, all of whom got on the Seahawks head coach about showing up his players in a video posted by the Seahawks on Saturday.

“I got a video earlier today from one of your practices. It has me very concerned,” Goodell said. “I keep hearing about the abuse that you’re putting on your defensive secondary, shredding them every day with your passes and your running.”

On Sundays, however, quarterback duties for the Seahawks will be left to Geno Smith for the second straight season. Smith took over as Seattle’s starting quarterback in 2022 and enjoyed the best season of his NFL career, leading the league in completion percentage on his way to his first-ever Pro Bowl nod and Comeback Player of the Year honors after many seasons as a backup.

While the lip kit mogul chatted with her rumored beau he was seen puffing away on a cigarette. 

The duo appeared to have a grand time, with Kylie laughing and throwing her head back at something the actor said at one point.

Fans were quick to share their thoughts on Twitter, with many in agreement that they didn’t believe the romance rumours until now.

Three-and-a-half months into her Renaissance Tour, Beyonce is scheduled to keep making her way around the U.S. until the finale show at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on October 1.

A woman ruffled a few feathers online after she revealed her controversial parenting methods.

Mother-of-two Aubrey, who lives in Phoenix, Arizona, took to TikTok to explain her different parenting rules that many have called her crazy for. 

In the clip, which racked up over 360,000 likes, she revealed she will never leave her daughter alone with a male, including family members such as her grandfather. 

Elsewhere she said there will be ‘no sleepovers’ with friends or family and she said her little girl doesn’t have to respect people if they don’t respect her.

Starting the clip while doing her makeup she said: ‘No sleepovers, not even with family members. And she will never be left alone with a male. I don’t care if you’re the grandparent, the uncle or the cousin.’

‘I won’t treat my daughter any differently to my son, for instance, me letting my son go out late but not my daughter because it’s too dangerous for a woman – I’m just going to treat them both the same.’

For her third rule she stated her children have to be open and honest with her no matter what.

She explained: ‘Secrets will not be kept from your parents. And if you’re one of those people now saying “I’ll give you candy when your mum’s not here, just don’t tell her”, that’s the quickest way to never see us again.

‘She doesn’t have to kiss you, hug you or sit on your lap just because you asked her to and because your a relative and haven’t seen her in a long time.

‘She doesn’t have to respect you if you don’t also respect her, as a child she still will have opinions and emotions and she is allowed to feel a certain way.’

Aubrey says her kids can have ‘mental health days’ when they need them and she’ll help them ‘regulate their emotions’. 

She also revealed she will be doing things slightly different when it comes to school and medicine. 

She said: ‘We’re not going to do a public school system that makes you sit at a desk for eight hours and not learn anything you really care about.

‘We will always use holistic methods before we resort to western medicine, and I’m not going to force [my daughter] to share or finish her plate of food.’

She continued: ‘I am teacher her to stand up for herself, set boundaries and say no.

‘I wont ever talk poorly about myself in front of her and I wont make comments about her appearance or body image.

‘I am teaching her she can always come to me and never has to hide anything. As a mom I will make mistakes and I will own up to it and apologise.

‘Nothing will ever be just because I said so, I will have legitimate reasons. I am also going to travel with her even when it’s hard with a toddler, it’s worth making all the memories and experiences with our family.

The clip was captioned: ‘Controversial ways I’m raising my daughter. Call me crazy IDC.’ 

The views were mixed in the comments section, while many agreed with the mothers rules, some thought no sleepovers was a step too far.
