Erykah Badu Gets the Last Laugh After DJ Akademiks Goes on Misogynist Rant Against Her
In news that can only be described as “too little, too late bro,” DJ Akdemiks is airing out his grievances with singer Erykah Badu over a joke she made at his expense five years ago.
“Erykah Badu, let me tell you this: you keep my name out your mouth too,” he began, before referencing her appearance on the Everyday Struggle show he hosted five years ago where she said he looked like Jerry the mouse from the 1940’s cartoon Tom and Jerry.
“Listen, that little Everyday Struggle shit, that was another era, my nigga. I’m down to violate all you niggas these days. Fuck what y’all got going on. You don’t mention my name, please. I don’t fuck with you neither,” Akademiks said.
He continued: “I never fucked with Erykah Badu after she was tryna come on my show and be funny. Bitch, I don’t fuck with you after that. Nigga, wassup now? What we finna do? Bitch, you a old-ass hoe, just keep getting fucked by all these young niggas who’s popping. … Bitch came in here waving all type of wands and shit. I’m trying to be nice to you. Now I realize, oh, you was trying to play me like I’m some clown. Bitch, fuck you, nigga. How many rappers ran through you, nigga? … How many young rappers you chase, trying to fuck them too?”
He also referred to her as a “ran-through chick at 45” and accused her of trying to go after late rapper XXXTentacion.
After getting wind of his rant, Badu consequently hopped on Instagram on Wednesday to address his comments, explaining that at the time everyone laughed at it but it apparently triggered him in the aftermath.
That’s when the “Didn’t Cha Know” singer whipped out her popular Badu Pussy Premium Original Incense and shared that it would be back on sale for a limited time and only in limited quantities.
“Let’s go! Badu Pussy. On sale today, 5pm CST. You know it’s rare and limited supply….they be talking about it everywhere, now you can smell it. Peace!”
What did Beyoncé say? “Always stay gracious, best revenge is your paper?” Looks like Badu is cashing in on that after all. And I don’t blame her! Why get back when you can get money?

Sadio Mane scored his first goal for Al Nassr and his former Liverpool teammate Jordan Henderson had the best ‘seat’ in the house.
The Senegalese star was on the scoresheet for his new employers in the first match of the Saudi Pro League season, but saw his side fall to a 2-1 defeat to Al Ettifaq in what is Steven Gerrard’s first win as manager of his new club.
Bursting into the penalty area, Mane, leading the line in Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence, latched onto a cut-back from the byline to slot home from close range, with Henderson just a couple of feet away from him.
However, Al Ettifaq fought back in the second half and claimed the win through goals by Robin Quaison and former Celtic and Fulham striker Moussa Dembele.
Henderson played in his first league match for his new employers Al Ettifaq, whom he signed for at the end of July.
The Sunderland-born star was brought in by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard who was named as the club’s boss earlier in the summer, naming Henderson as the captain and handing him the no.10 shirt.
While Henderson spent 12 years at Anfield, Mane enjoyed six seasons with the Reds as the midfielder’s teammate, establishing himself as a fans’ favourite.
In his time at the club, Mane scored 120 goals in 269 appearances for Liverpool, adding 48 assists as well.
With his Al Nassr career up and running, he’ll be hoping to have a similar impact with his new Saudi employers.
It’s not clear why Ronaldo was left out of the squad, however, he was substituted during their Arab Club Champions Cup triumph last weekend.

Actor Turned Racer Frankie Muniz Is No Joke in ARCA Racing Series
As the. child star of the early 2000s TV hit Malcolm in the Middle, Frankie Muniz got plenty of laughs as the title character.
This year, no one’s laughing at Muniz’s foray into the
ARCA Menards Series, where he sits second in the points after 11 of 24 races heading into the Reese’s 200 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Aug. 11.
Muniz is coming off his first top-five finish of the season for Rette Jones Racing with a fifth-place placing at Michigan International Speedway last weekend. And while he’s yet to lead a lap or win a race, Muniz has been a model of consistency, finishing eight times in the top 10 in his 11 starts.
“I have been craving a top-five finish over the last couple of months. I am glad we were finally able to get the goal accomplished last weekend at Michigan,” said Muniz. “I want more though. I’m excited to go to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park this weekend and contend for back-to-back top-five runs.”
Frankie Muniz (30) has been a consistent top-10 finisher all season in the ARCA Menards Series.
Jesse Love, an 18-year-old phenom who is already in his fourth season racing in the ARCA series, has dominated this year’s field with six wins and holds a commanding 82-point lead over the 37-year-old Muniz in the points chase.
Muniz is also turning heads, despite seeing nearly every racetrack on the schedule for the first time when he rolls into town for the next race.
“Nearly every race has been a challenge for one reason or another, but I believe we have approached the races well and executed them to the best of our ability,” said Muniz. “From superspeedways to intermediate tracks, short tracks and road courses—I’ve embraced it all with an open mind.
“But, if we want to have any shot at this championship, we have to step it up a little. Jesse (Love) though is so good right now and he’ll need to have a little bit of bad luck for us or anyone for that matter to have an impact. That can happen. We’ve seen that happen for both him and us.
“We’ll go to the track this weekend with the same mentality we’ve had for the first 11 races and see what happens when the checkered flag waves on Friday night.”

A grandmother’s hilariously frightened reaction to animals in a drive-through safari has gone viral and sparked joy across the internet.
Rhoda Cravens, 93, was caught screaming in fright as her daughter, 31-year-old Michelle Cunningham, took her to feed animals at the Wilstem Ranch Safari in Indiana.
The grandmother is seen screaming in a mix of terror and joy as, one after the other, animals poke their heads through and start to eat from the bowl of feed she has in her hands.
Video footage reveals that Rhoda’s hands are shaking as the huge animals, including an enormous horned mammal, come within inches of her, all as Michelle films on in glee.
Meanwhile, Michelle’s young son is spotted fearlessly feeding the various animals.

At one point, the 93-year-old cowered in the car as a pair of docile emus peck at the food bowl held by Michelle’s son.
She also managed to spill huge amount of food all over herself after an emu gave her a nasty shock.
Despite her terror, she is also seen with a huge grin on her face after seeing the exotic animals.
Speaking about her grandma’s reactions, Michelle said: ‘I know she doesn’t care for animals that much but thought it would be a fun experience for her.’
‘I had no idea she would act the way she did but I’m so glad I was able to record her reaction.’
Michelle revealed her grandmother is loving her sudden TikTok fame: ‘She keeps asking what the view count is and can’t believe that almost eight million people have viewed it.’
‘She loves that there are so many positive comments and will have me or my mother sit and read them to her.’
In reaction to the video, one TikTok user joked: ‘You thought you were sending Granny on a day trip, but you almost sent her to the afterlife!’
While another commented: ‘Grandmas heart must be in excellent condition.’
Rhoda has been loving her newfound fame on the internet, and apparently keeps asking what the view count on the video
