Hunter Biden told his longtime friend and business partner Devon Archer that they would get the “last laugh” after Archer said that the judge threw out his conviction, according to 2018 text messages reviewed by Fox News Digital.

Archer, who is set to appear before the House Oversight Committee Monday and is reportedly preparing to tell lawmakers about President Biden’s interactions with dozens of Hunter’s business associates while he was serving as vice president, informed Hunter Biden in a November 2018 text message that the “judge threw out my conviction today.”

“Thank f—ing god! First good news in way too long my friend. I am so happy for you. I know its [sic] been a living hell but put it behind you now and take great steps forward,” Hunter replied.

“Love you brother,” Archer said.

Hunter then appeared to refer to the Department of Justice as “motherf—ers’ and said he and Archer will “have the last laugh.”

“I swear to god we’ll have the last laugh,” Hunter said.

“I know. And I mean it. Can I please come see you now that I’m not a felon!?!” Archer said. “Don’t answer that. Just when and where?”

Hunter joked that he liked Archer “better as a felon” and that he was in Newburyport, Massachusetts for the next week, but to call him.

U.S. District Judge Ronnie Abrams in Manhattan ruled on that day that evidence that was presented earlier that year against Archer did not show that he “knew that the bond issue was fraudulent, or that he received any personal benefit from it,” according to Reuters. 

Abrams added that she was “left with an unwavering concern that Archer is innocent of the crimes charged.”

The 2018 text exchange and thousands of emails exchanged between Hunter Biden, Archer, and dozens of business associates over the course of a decade will be front and center as Archer goes before the House Oversight Committee to testify behind closed-doors on his business dealings with Hunter and reportedly explosive allegations about the elder Biden joining his son on business calls and meeting with his business associates.

“Devon Archer believes strongly in the rule of law and the democratic system, and is prepared to answer the Committee’s questions just as he has already answered similar questions from a federal grand jury, the Department of Justice, and several other government agencies in their investigations concerning the Biden family,” Archer’s attorney Matthew Schwartz said this past week.

Archer’s intimate knowledge of the business arrangements come after years of working closely with Hunter, including on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings with him, beginning in 2014.

He also co-founded investment firm Rosemont Seneca alongside the president’s son and Climate Envoy John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz. Archer served as managing director.

Archer co-founded BHR Partners in 2013— a joint-venture between Rosemont Seneca and Chinese investment firm Bohai Capital. BHR Partners is a Beijing-backed private equity firm controlled by Bank of China Limited.

Months after Hunter and Archer joined the Burisma board, Hunter expressed gratitude for Archer’s friendship in an unprompted email.

“Just wanted to let you know- at the risk of sounding melodramatic- how much I love you. You have been a great friend through thick and thin, and I wanted to make sure you know how much I appreciate it,”Hunter said to Archer. “I know I haven’t made it easy being my partner at times, but more than anyone outside my brother you have been there for me. And don’t worry I’m not planning on jumping off bridge or anything- just thought I should let you know how much your friendship means to me. Love, H”

“Thank you my brother! I genuinely appreciate that and I’m really excited about what’s ahead for us and our families and very happy to being doing it with you,” Archer replied.

In April, Fox News Digital reported that at least four business partners, a vice president and two assistants at Rosemont Seneca Partners visited the White House more than 80 times when Biden was vice president, including Archer.

Archer visited Biden at least twice in 2009 and 2014 during his vice presidency. The December 2009 visit was a holiday reception at Biden’s vice presidential residence, and the April 2014 visit was with Biden in the West Wing.

Archer also played golf with Biden and Hunter at least once during the Obama administration in August 2014 in the Hamptons, four months after Hunter and Archer joined the board of Burisma Holdings. A few days after Biden returned from the infamous December 2015 Ukraine trip, Archer also attended Biden’s holiday party at Biden’s vice presidential residence along with Hunter, his longtime business partner Eric Schwerim, and Sebastian Momtazi, who also had a Burisma.com email address.

Fox News Digital previously reported that Biden met at least 14 of Hunter’s business associates while he was vice president.

Archer is facing legal issues of his own. Despite his conviction being thrown out in 2018, it was reinstated by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals a month before the 2020 election and he was sentenced to a year and a day prison last February. 

He is expected to report to prison soon for his role in defrauding a Native American tribal entity and various investment advisory clients of tens of millions of dollars in connection with the issuance of bonds by the tribal entity and the subsequent sale of those bonds through “fraudulent and deceptive means,” according to the Department of Justice. He was convicted last February, but his sentence has been postponed by a series of appeals.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York on Saturday wrote to trial judge Ronnie Abrams requesting her to schedule a date for Archer to report to prison. However, a DOJ letter says Archer’s counsel argues it is “premature” to set a sentencing date, citing Archer mulling over further appeals.

Attorneys for Hunter Biden and Devon Archer did not respond to Fox News Digital inquiries on who is expected to have the “last laugh” after Archer testifies.

Blake Lively found herself in a comic snafu on Instagram that resulted in her having to clarify who the father of her children was. 

When a fan asked the svelte star, ‘How have you had 4 kids?’ the Gossip Girl star jokingly responded by tagging her personal trainer, Don Saladino. 

Quickly realizing that fans might misinterpret her joke, the blonde beauty, 35, clarified her comment. 

‘Wait, no. That’s not how. He’s not the father,’ the Age Of Adaline star, who shares her four children with husband Ryan Reynolds, made sure to add. 

‘He’s just the one who helps me fit into (some of) my clothes again after. He’s an even better person and friend than trainer. And that’s saying a lot,’ Blake added with a black heart.

Blake was dating her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley at the time, while the Deadpool star was married to Scarlett Johansson. 

Things weren’t exactly smooth sailing for the future husband and wife duo at the time, with the Free Guy star recounting to Entertainment Weekly how he actually bonded with Blake when they were on a double date with other people. 

‘We were buddies then. I remember it was funny because, for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff, we were both single,’ the Aviation Gin founder recalled. 

‘We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl. That was the most awkward date [from their perspective] probably because we were just like fireworks coming across,’ the Deadpool 2 star joked. 

The couple that the internet has now deemed ‘goals’ officially started dating in the fall of 2011. 

They tied the knot in a secret wedding in September 2012.

‘We were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that’s open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, ‘Want to dance?’ he explained. 

Adding that halfway through the dance, he thought, ‘Oh, I think I just crossed a line,’ Ryan said he walked Blake home. 

‘And, uh, you know, I don’t really need to go into what happened after that,’ Ryan joked.

The former glamour model took the time for a meet and greet with her younger fans, however the event may have gone a bit awry.

As, Katie, 44, posed for the cameras, her male fans were seemingly unable to take their eyes off her new boobs.

In several snaps from the event posted by the venue, she posed with several groups of fans.

The My Mucky Mansion star was in Castleblayney at the Switch Nightclub on Sunday for a special bank holiday event.

However, the young men appeared to be more interested in her bosom area as she flaunted her new assets during the meet and greet.

The reality star previously went under the knife  for her 16th surgery in a bid to get the “biggest breasts in Britain”.

The 44-year-old’s ample assets are believed to have been enlarged to a massive 2120 CC implants.

Before flying out to Belgium for surgery, a source told The Sun: “Katie is getting massive 2120 CC implants.

“She wants to have the biggest boobs in the country, and these will certainly set her on her way to that goal.”

This comes after The Sun revealed her Mucky Mansion series on Channel 4 is facing the axe.

The broadcaster has failed to snap up a third series after the show lost 300,000 viewers – leaving the reality star‘s future up in the air.

Seven episodes have already aired showing her get to work on renovating her crumbling mansion to turn it into her dream family home.

The property has some major ups and downs. In 2020, the mansion fell into disrepair after intruders ransacked it and caused damage throughout the home.

Katie was followed by TV crews as she embarked on reviving her “ruined” home, which she bought for £1.3million in 2014

It is now thought to be worth more than £3m after a collapsed ceiling and flooded kitchen were fixed.

‘Absolute joke’: Blake Ferguson calls out NRL in scathing Instagram story

Former premiership-winning winger Blake Ferguson has called out the NRL, lending his voice to growing calls for the league to provide better medical assistance for recently-retired players.

Taking to Instagram, Ferguson claimed he has been denied support from the NRL to cover costs associated with medical procedures on his nose, which has been broken eight times.

Ferguson last played in the NRL back in 2021, later playing for Championship side Leigh Centurions before moving back to Australia to play for Thirlmere Roosters in a local league.

As explained by the Rugby League Players Association back in January, the current CBA players only have 12 months to have “any surgeries and rehabilitation paid for that will help fix the injuries they suffered during their careers”.

“After 15 years in the nrl system, playing 249 games for 4 NRL teams winning a grand final, 7 games for @arlkangaroos, 9 games for @nswblues, winning the Harry Sunderland medal (players’ player for Kangaroos) and breaking my nose over 8 times you’d think they would fix it as I dedicated my life and body to the game,” Ferguson wrote in an Instagram story on Wednesday night.

“But no I have been told because I went to Japan and England and it has been over 12 months (since his last NRL game) that I’m not eligible for the medical treatment to fix it.

“What’s the go deadset person struggles to sleep at night and puts bums on seats for yas and you wanna just throw a person to the kirb [sic] once they are retired. Absolute joke.”

In a separate post, Ferguson wrote: “Surely I can be compensated for ruining my face. This wouldn’t have happened if I just played for ya local footy team. You think this came from walking in the park on an afternoon @rlplayers @arlkangaroos @nrl @nswblues.”

Ferguson had plenty of support, with Andrew Fifita, Josh Addo-Carr, Sandor Earl and Latrell Mitchell among those to share his post.

South Sydney fullback Mitchell re-posted Ferguson’s story with his own message, writing: “Regardless of how long you’re out of the game you should be compensated for your dedication”.

“What I’ve witness as a young fulla coming in to a system with you bred showed a lot of professionalism. Love ya bra. Bums in the seat for a game that forgets their biggest assets.”

Fifita, meanwhile, has already had an osteotomy on his knee and had his nose reconstructed and told AAP back in January that he needs another four surgeries.

“I’ve got 12 months to get it done, and I feel like I’m rushing to get it all sorted,” he told AAP at the time.

“I find having 12 months is a bit of a s*** go, but I feel like that’s why it’s important what the RLPA is doing.

“I’ve always heard from past players who said how important it was to get your body checked (before retirement) so you can get all the stuff you need.”

Former NRL winger Beau Ryan also joined calls for a new medical support fund earlier this year, telling NCA Newswire that it is an issue that “needs a lot of attention”.

“I’ve spoken to a few of the guys I used to play with 10 years ago whose bodies have broken down for different reasons – one needs a knee replacement and the other needs a brain scan,” Ryan said.

“At the moment, these guys are only covered for 12 months to get surgery after they stop playing, but sometimes your body doesn’t feel the full effects until two, three, four years after you’ve stopped playing.

“… “You hear people saying the players want more money, but it’s not about that. The players aren’t being greedy.

“They’re trying to protect themselves and future generations from what guys have gone through for the past 40 years.

“It’s a tough sport, and sure they get paid well, but the retirement fund and the post-footy fund needs a lot of attention because there are lots of people struggling for a number of reasons.

“There are a lot of people whose careers were cut short, and while some people have been able to stay in the game, others haven’t been so lucky.

“I think the game has a responsibility to not only protect players, but to also provide them with a safety net to help them when they do retire to get back on their feet.”
