Harsha Bhogle Reacts To MS Dhoni’s Latest Photo, Twitter Goes Crazy

May 28, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

The Indian Premier League is all set to start from 31st March 2023 and the teams have already started their preparation for the mega event. The first match will be played between the defending champions Gujarat Titans and the four times champions Chennai Super Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

The skipper of CSK – MS Dhoni has landed in Chennai; he has already started training for the tournament and the photos that are coming out are leaving people awestruck. Mahi has certainly undergone a transformation as far as his physical appearance is concerned. In one of the pics, his biceps are looking in a great shape and stronger and it gives an impression that he is a wrestler/weightlifter instead of being a cricketer.

The famous cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle noticed the biceps of MS Dhoni and he was not able to stop himself from talking about it.

Take a look:

Harsha Bhogle tweeted, “Never seen Dhoni as bulked up as this. Power game this #TataIPL?”

— Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) March 17, 2023

Soon Twitterati started reacting, while some expressed their excitement, there were few who used this as an opportunity to slam Rohit Sharma for being over-weight despite being the skipper of the national team. Check out some of the selected reactions:

@bhogleharsha Sir egearly waiting for your post match presentation chat with MSD. Always delightful

— Viraj Deshmukh 🇮🇳 (@VirajDeshmukh77) March 17, 2023

what will it take for our so called indian captain to adapt this? if Ms can do this even 4 years after his retirement what stops him from doing this now?

— me for president (@mehfr_president) March 17, 2023

I think not playing at international level anymore gave him more time to spend in the gym….with the loaded international schedule, it is difficult to spend more time on yourself…you can workout to stay fit but this requires a different training and time with weights

— Sameer Malhotra (@TheIndian08) March 18, 2023

What an inspiration 👏👏 So these were the tricks hidden there up the sleeves.

— I am (@Souradipta_) March 17, 2023

Absolutely! Dhoni’s transformation is impressive and he’s definitely bringing his power game to the #TataIPL. Can’t wait to see what he’ll bring to the table this season! #IPL2023

— Manish Singh (@manishsingh8303) March 17, 2023

To each their own but Rohit definitely needs to cut down on his weight and tummy. Also, as one age you gotta get more powerful to survive longer, specially in fast faced ipl.

— Swami Guru (@MasterSwami) March 17, 2023

It’s time for MS to hulk out 🥺🔥#IPL2023

— Padmasree (@Padmasree05) March 17, 2023

This time the six hit by him will go from Chepauk to Mohali!!

— anil9464 (@anil9464) March 17, 2023

In terms of just future and pure health, it’s not a bad move. At the age of 40, if he has significant muscle mass, he’ll have a much healthy 60s and 70s too. Since this might be his last IPL, I’d say this is not a bad move.

— Sanchit Jajodia (@sanchitjajodia) March 17, 2023

Your chats with him in post match presentation is what I am waiting for 👌🏻👌🏻

— All About Cricket (@allaboutcric_) March 17, 2023

#thala be like pic.twitter.com/JhtXx5Tmsg

— Jank Stark (@JKhindkar) March 17, 2023

The physical transition seems more about curating his own personality and not about cricket as this IPL will be his last.

— Nishchay joshi (@I_Nishchay) March 17, 2023

he is hinting that he will continue to play few more ipl!

— Ant Jay (@Antonyplex) March 17, 2023

Just You and MS in post match presentation can heal my soul💛

— Hustler (@KrAk0451) March 17, 2023

He is unbelievable in so many ways almost 40 ..but hunger and dedication remains same as the dhoni of 2006..one of the biggest ambassadors of the game for sure..Thala ❤

— Chandrashekhar (@Irrfan51014994) March 17, 2023

MS Dhoni is the second most successful skipper of the IPL as CSK has won four titles under his leadership and he is also one of the most successful skippers of the country too as the Indian team has won three ICC trophies in his captaincy – 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy.

According to the reports, there is a good chance that this will be the last IPL of MS Dhoni as a skipper and player so his fans will certainly like to see him lifting the trophy this year.

Lainey Wilson Reigns Queen Of 2023 ACM Awards With Four Wins: “This Is Crazy”

May 28, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Lainey Wilson swept the 2023 ACM Awards with wins in four categories.

Wilson is the winningest artist of the night, taking home trophies in the following categories: Female Artist of the Year, Album Of The Year (Bell Bottom Country), Music Event Of The Year (“Wait In The Truck” feat. HARDY), Visual Media Of The Year for “Wait In The Truck.”

Visual Media Of The Year

Wilson’s Visual Media Of The Year win with HARDY was announced ahead of the show, and the pair’s Music Event of the Year win took place in the first part of the show.

When these artists got together, magic was made.

📣 Let’s hear it for this year’s Music Event of the Year winners, @hardymusic and @laineywilson 👏 #ACMawards pic.twitter.com/GNpN4YTwkM

Female Artist Of The Year

Wilson appeared to be shocked when ACM Awards co-host Dolly Parton revealed her name as the winner of Female Artist Of The Year.

“I can’t believe I just met Dolly Parton, first of all. This is crazy,” Wilson said as she took the stage.

She went on to showcase her gratitude for her team and everyone who has helped her along the way.

“First of all, I wanna say thank you to my father, thank you Jesus for this. This is absolutely insane. Thank you to my family, they’re out here somewhere, my first believers. My label, Broken Bow, Red Light, Sony Music Publishing, WME,” she shared. “I have so many people on my team who fight for me every single day.”

An unforgettable moment for @laineywilson 👏 Congrats on taking home the WIN for Female Artist of the Year! #ACMawards pic.twitter.com/F2tpKIHayI

Moments later, she paid tribute to her fellow nominees, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, and Carly Pearce.

“Ladies in this category, I look up to y’all so much and I’m up here because of y’all, because of people like Dolly Parton paving the way. And I tell you what, everybody in this category didn’t just wind up there by happenstance,” she pointed out. “They have worked their fingers to the bone. They have put the blood, sweat, and tears and years into this. They’ve made so many sacrifices, missing a lot of weddings, a lot of funerals, not that I want to go to all of ’em anyway, but I’m just saying. Oh my goodness”

Before leaving the stage, Wilson gave a shoutout to the “little girls” watching from home.

“This right here, it stands for hard work. If you’re gonna be a dreamer, you better be a doer.”

Album Of The Year

Keeping the momentum going, Wilson later won Album of the Year for her latest project, Bell Bottom Country.

“Y’all, alright. Let me collect my thoughts. I’m like blacking out. Am I out breath because of that or because of this? It’s a lot,” she confessed before adding, “I feel so honored, just first of all. Thank you so much to the Academy. I wanna say that Bell Bottom Country has been a labor of love. Thank you to my producer, Mr. Jay Joyce, my incredible songwriters who sometimes know what I’m trying to say better than I do. The musicians who played on this record, my goodness, y’all have helped me find what Bell Bottom Country even sounds like.”

She later recalled writing 300 songs for the album and declared, “A lot of folks have shared with me that this album has changed their life, but the truth is, writing these songs for this album saved mine.”

As her speech wrapped up, Lainey Wilson added, “So Bell Bottom Country is country with a flare. It’s a state of mind that I’ve always had. It can be how you were raised or the place you call home, but it’s writing a crazy story and it’s making it your own. With a little more love and a lot less hating, be who you wanna be cause everybody else is taken.”

“Bell Bottom Country” has been the soundtrack of our year 💿

Class balance is still an absolute joke in Diablo 4—but the game has far bigger problems

May 27, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

It’s fair to say that last time we got to play Diablo 4, during the two initial weekend betas, class balance was a complete mess. Sorcerers were nuking everything in sight while Barbarians struggled to lift their axes, and Necromancers were standing around AFK watching their skeletons clear entire dungeons for them. Blizzard quickly promised buffs and nerfs, so heading into this final beta, the “Server Slam”, I was most curious to see what those changes would amount to. The result? I’m left with even less confidence that Blizzard has any idea how to make this game fun.

Barbarians, at least, felt a little stronger than they did before—it wasn’t too back-breaking to beat the Den Mother this time around—but they’re still substantially slower, weaker, and less versatile than anyone else. Sorcerers remain walking nukes that can kill enemies three screens away. Meanwhile, Necromancers got nerfed so haphazardly that they had to get rebuffed halfway through the beta test, because their skeleton minions were now dissolving in the presence of bosses and leaving them plinking away with pitiful ranged spells.

In short: class balance is still an absolute joke, and worse still, Blizzard has shown no sign of having any vision for what direction changes should be going in. Sure, this is still a beta, but the launch is due June 6, with early access on June 1—we’re very unlikely to see substantial tweaks before then. Right now, we’re looking at a day one where Sorcerers and Barbarians are not so much playing different games as operating on different planes of reality.

But really, the class imbalance is just a symptom. The real problem is that it doesn’t matter whether your favourite class is firing on all cylinders or shooting blanks—none of them are much fun to play.

Class dismissed

(Image credit: Tyler C. / Activision Blizzard)

For a Barbarian, the game is boring because it’s a long, slow slog of whacking at spongy healthbars. For a Sorcerer, the game is boring because you just throw out a handful of very similar spells that work in all situations and things melt in your presence. At no end of the spectrum has Blizzard found satisfying, interesting gameplay loops, other than the endless treadmill of watching the numbers incrementally go up.

As I lamented during the last betas, Blizzard hasn’t learnt anything about action-RPG combat in the 11 years since Diablo 3. I’d go so far as to say it’s stepped backward. As I went into then, fights are slow and awkward, with any potentially interesting combos or loops hamstrung by long cooldowns that prevent any kind of satisfying rhythm. Character building is the worst of both worlds—streamlined and restrictive, with clear intended paths for characters to take, but fiddly enough that theorycrafting is mostly a matter of hunting for keywords.

Even healing is wrong-headed—spellcasters can just ignore their health, while melee characters have to plan every boss fight around when more potions are going to drop, a completely uninteresting subsystem. There are only two ways to die: either you’re a character that can’t avoid getting hurt, and you simply run out of resources because your DPS isn’t high enough to get to the next step of the fight; or you’re a character that never gets hurt, but you take a stray hit from an obnoxiously long crowd control effect, and get battered down before you can unfreeze and chug a potion. Neither is at all satisfying or dramatic.

Horrible bosses

During the Server Slam, everyone had one goal in mind—to kill the world boss, Ashava, and claim their exclusive cosmetic. But the great beast only ended up being the perfect capstone to Diablo 4’s problems. As Fraser discovered, fighting it was just a long, tedious slog that made every part of your character feel meaningless. Playing a tanky build? Pointless, because you die in one hit from one of its enormous AoE attacks. Playing DPS? Enjoy watching an enormous healthbar achingly slowly tick down while you spam one spell that it has no visible reaction to. Playing support? No, you aren’t—that doesn’t exist. Playing a Necromancer? Sorry, all your skeletons got banished to Double Hell and they ain’t coming back. All of that slow, tedious grinding of getting to level 20 culminated in an even slower, more tedious grind of a fight.

Sure, it didn’t help that Blizzard made the bizarre decision to point us all at a level 25 boss while the beta level cap was reduced to 20, but even a faster, easier version of that fight wouldn’t have been any less dull. At its core, the combat is simply half-baked—Blizzard never found the fun, whether you’re adventuring alone or teaming up for flimsy MMO-like activities.

I’m more sure than ever that Diablo 4 is bringing nothing new to the action-RPG table. It’s big and shiny, and pretty good looking—a lot of people are going to give it a pass for that. Maybe for mindlessly pushing through while you watch TV, it’ll do the job for a lot of them. But not only is there no innovation or creativity here whatsoever, there isn’t even a basic understanding of how to make an action-RPG engaging—and the ineffective tweaks made so far are a sure sign that one isn’t developing any time soon. From a series as genre-defining as Diablo, and a studio as storied as Blizzard, we should expect far better.

But hey, the servers did hold up remarkably well—I’ll give ’em that. At least I didn’t have to queue up to get my gruel.

May 27, 2023 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Cher may have turned 77, but she doesn’t feel like it.

“Ok, will Someone PLEASE tell me…..When Will I Feel OLD,” the singer tweeted on her birthday, May 20. “This is ridiculous. I keep hearing these numbers, but I Honestly can’t understand them.”

The iconic singer then posed a question: “WHATS THE DEAL WITH (numbers).”

“I’m dyslexic & (numbers) Are hard 4 me,” she added in her post.

In response to her tweet, many fans wished the “Believe” singer a happy birthday.

“Age is a number,” one fan commented. “When you open your heart (like I know you do) we are age less. The spirit hasn’t got an age.”

Another wrote, “Love you Cher! Happy birthday, you’re so wonderful. The best icon, legend, diva, queen. Much love.”

“Immortal,” another Twitter user commented.

Cher ended her birthday message with a simple, “Got to go work out.”

She previously shared her intense fitness routine with fans in January 2022.

“Just came up from, Abs, Zumba, Yoga, Wall Sits,” she tweeted, before adding that the next day she scheduled “Step Class, Yoga, Different Abs.”

One fan commented at the time, “Hey there, Cher! Phew! I worked up a sweat, and am exhausted, just reading this tweet.”

So far in 2023, Cher has been busy enjoying her romance with beau Alexander Edwards. In March, she stepped out to make her red carpet debut with Edwards, a music producer and rapper.

Cher opened up about their decades-wide age gap on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in December 2022.

“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous but in real life, we get along great,” Cher said. “He’s fabulous, and I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve. But he’s very kind, he’s very smart. He’s very talented and he’s really funny so, and I think he’s quite handsome.”
