A total transformation! Miley Cyrus has had quite the dramatic style transformation since she stepped into the spotlight with her 2006 hit show Hannah Montana.

Because while she may have started out in sweet dresses and cowboy boots that took inspiration from her country roots, she made it clear in the years that followed that she’s not afraid to shy away from shock value when it comes to her style.

In a behind-the-scenes video with ScreenSlam in August 2016, she revealed that her skin-baring on-stage looks and out-of-the-box fashion statements are actually a form of distraction.

“The way I dress to distract — it’s a comforting thing to me,” she said. “I think style can be something that can make you feel comfortable. It’s something to kind of not maybe just have everyone staring into you should. That’s [fashion] is giving them something to look at.”

While the “Party in the USA” singer has taught Us to always be prepared for a style surprise (think: her Simone Harouche bubble dress at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards), she’s also fully equipped at rocking a gorgeous gown or sophisticated suit.

Because according to a 2021 interview she did with Vogue, Cyrus’ wide-ranging style is pretty reflective of her personality at any point in time.

“Fashion to me is kind of like flipping yourself inside out. It’s like wearing your heart, wearing your guts, wearing your values, wearing your identity, wearing your pain, wearing you joy,” she revealed. “There’s something kind of childlike about it. You’re so fearless when you get yourself dressed when you’re a kid. You don’t think about what someone will think of you or what they’ll judge.”

She added: “It’s just about expression and how you feel that day. There’s a fearlessness. And so when I get dressed, I try to kind of think like my inner child and be genuine and authentic in whatever I’m wearing.”

From uber-girly ensembles like her maroon, princess-esque Zac Posen tulle gown at the 2018 Grammys to her bondage-inspired leather look at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival, Cyrus definitely doesn’t stick to any particular aesthetic.

Susan Krauss Whitbourne, Ph.D., ABPP, a professor of psychological and brain sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, argues that “we do not know what their parents were actually like, but the existence of this relationship suggests how narcissism can be passed on from generation to generation.”

What would you do almost immediately after you added an adorable new canine companion to your family? You’d share it on social media, of course! Adopting a new furry family member is incredibly exciting, and your social media followers are likely to share in your enthusiasm.

That’s exactly what Back to the Future star Michael J. Fox did, and fans and admirers from all over the world showed him so much love and support.

The retired actor was beaming in the photo he shared with friends and fans on Instagram. In the fabulous photo, he’s seen flashing the camera a broad, bright smile as he snuggles his new furry family member. 

“Hey Blue, welcome to your new home,” he captioned the photo he shared. 

Two fellow actors were quick to comment, sharing their excitement. Julianne Moore was smitten and said, “Oh my gosh!! So cute,” and Ali Wentworth commented, “THIS IS CRAZY NUTS! What a gorgeous girl! Tell her Auntie Ali can’t wait to play…”

Quite a few fans chimed in to say that Blue bears a striking resemblance to Doc’s dog “Einstein” from the Back to the Future movies. 

“Lucky dog! He looks like Einstein! Does he only like canned dog food too? Are you tired of all of us comparing everything to back to the future? Haha,” said a fan of the franchise.

Two years ago, he said goodbye to his beloved Great Dane / Labrador mix, Gus, who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2021. In his book, the long-time dog-lover called his beloved best friend a “wonder dog” because he was an unwavering source of support as he faced his many health challenges. 

“Your instinct when you have a chronic illness is to sometimes isolate and make your world as small as possible so you don’t have much to deal with, but a dog will open you up,” he explained.

Despite being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease back in 1991 and experiencing some concerning health complications, Michael J. Fox is known for his infamous optimism. He has spoken publicly about his determination to remain positive, despite facing some difficult situations. 

What better way is there to ensure more joy in your life than to spend time with an adorable, playful pup? Experiencing the unconditional love of a dog is certainly a great way to boost your spirits and keep you smiling when life gets tough.

We’re so happy for Michael and Blue! The pup gets a great new family, and his dad gets a cathartic canine companion.
