BROADCASTER Pat Sharp had the plug pulled on his radio job last night after joking about a woman’s boobs at an event, leaving her humiliated and in tears.
Sharp, 61, star of 1990s TV show Fun House, was compering an industry awards do in front of 400 people when he made the quip about event company boss Lizzy Eaton’s chest.

Greatest Hits Radio, where he had hosted a show since 2019, said his contract was due to expire at the end of March but that he will “not return to the station with immediate effect”.
Former I’m a Celeb contestant Sharp had given Lizzy a T-shirt with his face and famous mullet from his ’90s heyday printed on it — then said: “That’s the only way I’ll get on your t**s today.”
Shocked Lizzy threw the top at him then stormed out in tears.
She later said online: “Yesterday I was publicly humiliated, in a sexual nature, by the celebrity host of an industry event, on stage in front of 400 of my colleagues and peers.
“Afterwards I was in complete shock and hadn’t really processed what happened. Today I am struggling with it — I feel sad, dirty and, frankly, violated.
“I have worked incredibly hard to earn my reputation and hopefully be an inspiration to other young women in the events industry.
“Yesterday however, I was belittled, sexualised and objectified in front of hundreds of people I respect.”
She is considering “taking action” against Sharp following Friday’s comments at the Conference News Agency Awards at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Central London.
A source said: “The whole room was silent. She was absolutely humiliated. It went down like a lead balloon.
“He’s clearly still stuck in the ’80s. He’s a vile individual.”
Last night, Sharp said: “Last Friday, I made a joke on stage which was not well received.
“I upset one individual in particular and for that I am truly sorry.
“I apologised at the event to anyone who was offended and I have apologised to the individual personally too.”
