Emmy nominee Kevin Bacon bid farewell to his beloved canine companion Lilly who passed away, age 13, on Sunday.

The Philadelphia-born 64-year-old – who boasts 10.9M social media followers – captioned his Instagram slideshow: ‘Goodbye sweet Lilly. We miss you already.’

Kevin included several heartbreaking snaps of his precious pup, including one of Lilly as a tiny puppy.

Bacon’s tribute received condolence comments from three-time Oscar nominee Michelle Pfeiffer and Grammy-nominated comedian Chelsea Handler – neither of whom have worked with him.

The They/Them producer-star also received comments from his co-stars Austin Crute and Darwin Del Fabro, as well as his City on a Hill co-star Matthew Del Negro and his The Following director Marcos Siega.

Kevin’s wife – Emmy winner Kyra Sedgewick – posted her own touching tribute to their little Lilly.

‘Had to say goodbye to our sweet crazy girl today,’ the native New Yorker – turning 57 on August 19 – wrote.

The acting pair’s 30-year-old daughter – As We See It star Sosie Bacon – also shared a slideshow captioned: ‘Rest easy pretty lady. Thanks for letting us love you for 13 wild years.’

Bacon and Sedgewick – who happen to be ninth cousins once removed – are also parents to 33-year-old son, CONTRACULT collective goth rocker Travis Bacon.

Luckily, the inseparable duo – celebrating their 34th wedding anniversary on Spetember 4 – have no lack of furry friends residing on their 40-acre farm in Sharon, CT.

Kevin and Kyra originally met on the 1988 set of PBS’ Lemon Sky.

On Monday morning, Bacon and his big brother Michael revealed via Instastory that they ‘were working on something pretty fun’ on set ahead of their next scheduled Bacon Brothers gig at the Coach House Concert Hall in San Juan Capistrano on August 24.

The two-time SAG Award winner executive produces and stars as corrupt venerated FBI veteran Jackie Rohr in the eight-episode third season of Chuck MacLean’s drama City On a Hill, which airs Sundays on Showtime.

Meanwhile, Sedgewick enlisted both Kevin as and their son Travis to take part in her feature directorial debut Space Oddity, which premiered June 12 at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Bacon played the character Jeff McAllister in the sci-fi rom-com and Travis helped compose the music for her movie also starring Alexandra Shipp and Simon Helberg.
