Shelter’s FB Photo Of Husky Sparks Hilarious Comments & Inquiries. But, Not About The Dog

October 16, 2022 by humorouz Leave a Comment

According to the ASPCA, 3.3 million dogs enter U.S. shelters PER YEAR. That’s a whole lotta good boys and girls looking for love and ALL the kisses. Because they deserve them, yes, they do.

However, it can be challenging for animal shelters to find people willing to open up their hearts and their homes to rescue pets that may not have the same appeal as a cute, cuddly little puppy.

Many of these dogs come with baggage; having been mistreated, abused, or neglected. Others have been surrendered because, for various reasons, their owners can no longer look after them.

Organizations will often take to social media to get the word out on the pets they have available for . They write up catchy bios and attach adorable photos.

And it is one such post, found on the City of Wichita Falls Animal Services Facebook page, that is garnering a lot of attention. But it isn’t because of the dog.

The posting features a husky dog named Sky. It also just so happens to feature one of the animal shelter’s newest employees, Zackry Majewski.

So yeah, there’s a husky and then there’s HUSKY.

Photo Credit: FB/City of Wichita Falls Animal Services

And there seems to be some confusion about who, exactly, is available.

The post opens with a little bit about Zackry. He loves dogs, snuggling, hiking, and listening to country music. And you gotta admit, he sounds pretty near perfect.

Zackry Majewski started with us in October of 2020. He has a great compassion for the animals in our care. He is especially fond of Huskies and can always be found snuggling with a puppy in the shelter. On his time off Zac enjoys hiking and listening to Country Music.

But let’s not forget why we’re really here. IT’S FOR SKY, people, SKYYYYYY. The dog. Remember? Me neither.

The Facebook post continues:

Of course Zac chose our resident Husky to spotlight.

I mean, of course, he did. Look at those baby blues. Hers are nice too.

Sky is a beautiful girl waiting for a forever home.

Sure, she is…but is Zac? Because that seems to be the question weighing on everyone’s mind:

And if he is? There are definitely a few takers. Like, A LOT.

Basically the whole state of Texas.

Single, married, old, and gay. They’re all looking for some of that good, husky lovin’ (and not the puppy kind).

Although granted, there are some people who aren’t necessarily looking for a long-term commitment. They’d prefer to just foster rather than adopt:

And there was this one woman who tried to warn about the dangers associated with adopting. A man that is.

I don’t think anyone was listening. Except maybe this woman.

Commenters were distracted, to say the least. So distracted that it prompted the City of Wichita Falls Animal Services to remind people that the dog was, in fact, still available.

The DOG not ZAC.

It seems that their marketing paid off. They updated their comments two days after the post originally published to let people know that Sky has been adopted. Yayyyy!

No word on Zackry. Sorry.

We’re pretty sure though that this isn’t the last we’ll see of Zackry. And if the Wichita Falls Animal Services is smart (which seems to go without saying) they may just give Zackry some new job duties. And a raise.

Just in case they need them, here are a few suggestions:

In all seriousness, if you are in the market for a pet not named Zac, the City of Wichita Falls Animal Services still has plenty of other animals available for adoption. You can view them here:

Or if you’re not in the Wichita Falls vicinity, contact your local Humane Society.

Sierra Leone star hilariously recreates Bafetimbi Gomis celebration, while Ivory Coast man Serge Aurier goes in goal in crazy Africa Cup of Nations clash

October 16, 2022 by humorouz Leave a Comment

There were yet more incredible scenes at the Africa Cup of Nations as Sierra Leone battled to a last-gasp 2-2 draw against the Ivory Coast.

From on-pitch fights, to dangerous tackles to absolutely shoddy refereeing performances, this tournament really has had it all.

What a tournament AFCON 2021 has been and there’s a lot more to come

And Sunday’s clash between Sierra Leone and the Ivory Coast proved to be no different with a hilarious celebration and Serge Aurier having a cameo appearance in goal capping off the enthralling contest.

Sebastien Haller put the Ivory Coast, who went into the match as favourites to win, in front but the Elephants were pegged back by Musa Noah Kamara’s fine effort.

Nicolas Pepe’s crisp strike appeared to have sealed the Ivory Coast all three points, however, Alhaji Kamara snatched a draw for Sierra Leone in the third minute of stoppage-time.

It came in extremely fortuitous circumstances as Kamara struck home from inside six yards when the ball was laid on a plate from him after an astonishing mistake from Ivory Coast goalkeeper Badra Sangare.

The equaliser sparked jubilant scenes in the Sierra Leone camp and there was a nice bit of closure for Kamara, who embarrassed himself earlier in the week after recreating Bafetimbi Gomis’ lion celebration only to later find out his strike against Algeria wasn’t given.

Sangare also sustained an injury as a routine ball slipped underneath his body and former Tottenham defender Serge Aurier finished the match in goal.

The early stages of the Group E clash also saw Franck Kessie’s penalty get saved by Sierra Leone keeper Mohamed Nbalie Kamara.

Things are wide open in the group with Sierra Leone in a great position to reach the last-16 of the tournament while the Ivory Coast have work to do when they face defending champions Algeria on Thursday.

8 Hilarious Things NCT Said In English That Fans Think About A Lot

October 16, 2022 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Since NCT is a global group who have gone on international tours and have members from multiple countries, the members have provided us with some of the funniest quotes in both Korean and English. Some of those, fans just can’t stop thinking about. Here are some of the fan-favorite English quotes from NCT!

1. “That’s Not My Problem” — Johnny

While on tour in the US, Mark had a string of bad luck in all the games that NCT played. When he complained about this to Johnny, Jonny shrugged his shoulders and replied, “Not my problem.”

2. “I lived in America for four years, that’s why I’m here, man” — Jaehyun

In a promotion video from their days as rookies, Jaehyun is heard trying to improvise a rap in English, saying, “I lived in America for four years, that’s why I’m here, man,” while Mark beatboxes and Johnny also attempts to rap.

3. “Oh, dude, he’s flirting” — Mark

During Johnny’s regular segment on the NCT Youtube channel, Johnny’s Fashion Evaluation, Ten fixes Johnny’s shirt while Johnny, with a cheeky face, keeps popping up a heart sign at Ten and at the camera. As Johnny continues to be flirty, Mark, sounding like he’s just realized what’s happening, comments, “Oh dude, he’s flirting!”

Johnny is bound to have multiple entries in this list, as he consistently delivers hilarious and savage remarks. In this case, the members were live streaming as they had a meal together at home. Reading out some of the comments, Johnny turned to Mark and deadpanned, “They’re saying your head is flat. It says flat af.” Jaehyun clearly couldn’t hold back a laugh.

6. “If I was your boyfriend I’d never let you go…” — Haechan

Singing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” seems to be Haechan’s go-to when faced with a situation in which he must speak English, which is what he did when he interviewed NCT’s ‘Foreign Swaggers’ (the foreign members of NCT) on his short Youtube series with Taeil, Sun and Moon.

7. “Deez… nuts” — Taeil

While promoting their Sticker album, NCT 127 filmed a video for GQ in which they went ‘undercover’ online to answer fans’ questions. One of the questions was, “Who is your musical inspiration?” Haechan, referring to the famous producer who collaborates with SM, answered, “Deez”, and Taeil (very) softly added, “nuts” in the background, much to Mark’s amusement.

8. “No, puberty hit you” — Johnny

In an episode of Johnny’s Communication Center, Johnny, Mark and Ten attempted to bake Christmas cookies (to mixed success). Afterwards, they sat down to eat their cookies and talk about how far they’ve come. As they looked at an old picture of Johnny and Ten, Mark commented, “I saw how puberty hit you guys.” Johnny instantly came back with, “No, puberty hit YOU. I was PAST puberty by then.” This was a funny comment that made a lot of fans laugh due to the four-year age gap between Johnny and Mark.

[VIDEO] Schumer Goes Crazy After Ted Showed up at 3:30 AM to Block Dems New Attempt to Federalize Elections

October 15, 2022 by humorouz Leave a Comment

The Demcoraats were at itr again.

This time they tried to federalize our elections in the middle of the night, but thank God, Ted Cruz was there to block it.

That’s right, while you were sleeping, Ted was awake and blocking Dems latest attempt to take over our elections.

Daily Wire reported that Cruz blocked an attempt by Senate Democrats to push through a federal election overhaul bill early Wednesday morning.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) brought the For The People Act, a bill critics say amounts to a federal takeover of elections, to the floor around 3:30 a.m. after the Senate had concluded 15 hours of amendment votes on a $3.5 trillion budget resolution. In the dead of night, Schumer sought to pass the federal overhaul of elections by unanimous consent, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Do you think it’s ok Jeff Bezos doesn’t pay taxes, takes a trip to space and still asks the US taxpayer for $10B?

Yes, absolutely!

By completing the poll, you agree to receive emails from WayneDupree.com, occasional offers from our partners and that you’ve read and agree to our privacy policy and legal statement.

Only one objection by a senator was required to stop the process. In a roughly 15-minute back-and-forth, Cruz tanked Schumer’s attempt to force the election bill through the Senate. Cruz blasted the bill in remarks on the Senate floor:

Here’s what Ted said:

FOR THE PEOPLE ACT: In the dead of night, Sen. @tedcruz successfully blocked Democrats’ For the People Act from passing in the Senate. pic.twitter.com/XeWRux2YXf

And trust me when I say, that move did not sit well with Chuck Schumer, who has been trying to do whatever he can to get this “For The People” election-stealing act to go through, and he went on ballistic on Ted.

You can watch the video below:

The right has to keep fighting hard. Especially on anything “election-related.”

Thank God Ted was there to block this unholy disaster.

Our elections must be fair and transparent, with no more tsunamis of illegal mail-in ballots and other absurd “middle-of-the-night” shenanigans.

If that horrific stuff from 2020 keeps up, we won’t have a country left.

Prince Louis’ Home Alone moment: Social media users joke about what antics royal might get up to | Daily Mail Online

October 15, 2022 by humorouz Leave a Comment

The Queen‘s cheeky great-grandson Prince Louis stole the hearts of the nation as he pulled faces and mucked about with his royal family at Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this summer.

So mourners looking to have their spirits lifted even a little after the late Monarch’s death on September 8 were disappointed to learn that the Prince and Princess of Wales‘s youngest – aged four – would not be attending yesterday’s historic state funeral for his ‘Gan Gan’.

Now Twitter users are joking about what antics the little prince might have gotten up to while ‘home alone’ for the day – with many kidding that the ‘real reason’ young Louis did not go was because of a ‘high chance of chaos’.

One meme shows the young royal’s face superimposed on the film poster of the classic 1990 movie Home Alone in place of Macaulay Culkin, while many others have shared memes of Culkin’s character Kevin running around the house after his parents accidentally forget to bring him on holiday under the caption: ‘And we now go live to Prince Louis at Buckingham Palace’.

Some imagined Louis leaving a trail of destruction at the Palace, comparing him to an appearance Mr Blobby made on ITV’s This Morning where he deliberately knocked items off the shelf.

And a spare thought was even made for the prince’s babysitter having to look after the mischief-maker.

Twitter users are joking about what antics young Prince Louis might have gotten up to while ‘home alone’ for the day yesterday – with many kidding that the ‘real reason’ the little royal did not go to the funeral was because of a ‘high chance of chaos’

Louis and ‘Gan Gan’ at the Platinum Jubilee: The photos that stole the hearts of the nation

His mother the Princess of Wales earlier revealed how Louis is coping with the death of their great-grandmother the Queen.

Speaking to Australia’s Governor-General at a reception held for Commonwealth dignitaries ahead of the Queen’s funeral today, Kate explained her four-year-old is asking questions and struggling to understand.

Louis has been asking whether the family’s summertime visit to Balmoral Castle will still be as he remembers them.

‘The younger one is now asking questions like, ”do you think we can still play these games when we go to Balmoral’ and things like that, because she’s not going to be there?”’ Mr Hurley said.

The Daily Mail understands that the Prince and Princess of Wales thought ‘long and hard’ about whether their two eldest children, aged nine and seven, should join them.

But after George and Charlotte attended their great-grandfather’s memorial in March, William and Kate decided they could cope with the solemnity of the occasion.

‘As parents they have, of course, thought long and hard about whether their children should accompany them,’ a source said. ‘Of course little Louis is too young, but they think George and Charlotte are up to it.’

Yesterday the future King, Prince George, and his sister, Princess Charlotte, remained impeccably behaved through a long and solemn day as they bid farewell to their beloved ‘Gan Gan’.

The royal siblings, great grandchildren of the Queen, were among 2,000 guests at her state funeral and were the youngest members of the royal family to follow the Queen’s coffin through Westminster Abbey.

They also attended the committal service in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle later in the afternoon.

At Westminster Abbey, George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven, walked behind the Queen’s coffin as part of a solemn procession before hundreds of guests in the gothic church and watched from afar by a huge international TV audience.

As the young royals followed their great grandmother’s coffin, flanked by their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Charlotte held her hands clasped in front of her, while George had his arms by his side.

The foursome walked a little behind the King, Charles, and Camilla, Queen Consort, and ahead of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The young royals had arrived earlier in a car with Camilla and their mother, Kate.

George was dressed in a dark navy suit and black tie, while Charlotte wore a black coat dress with pleats at the back and a small silver horseshoe pinned on the front, black tights and a hat with a ribbon tied at the back.

Ahead of the service, the Princess of Wales could be seen holding Charlotte’s hand, and giving her a reassuring touch on the shoulder.

Throughout the service, the children could be seen studying their order of service at various points, with Charlotte looking around from under the brim of her hat while the mourners sang The Lord’s My Shepherd.

And her brother George was seen singing The Day Thou Gavest, Lord, Is Ended as he stood between his parents.

At one point, Kate could be seen comforting her son with a hand on his knee.

At the end of the service, George followed closely behind his father, while Kate put a guiding hand on the back of her daughter, as the foursome got up from their seats and stood behind the coffin.

As they filed slowly out of the Abbey both children looked down at times. They later stood with their mother Kate, Meghan, Camilla and the Countess of Wessex, watching as the Queen’s coffin began its final journey from Westminster.

When the coffin reached Wellington Arch, it was transferred to the state hearse to be driven to Windsor, with senior royals watching at the side.

Charlotte clasped her mother’s hand and chatted briefly with her elder brother, gesturing at the coffin as it was carefully lifted off the gun carriage metres away.

At the committal service in Windsor, TV cameras gave only a few glances of the siblings, who remained impeccably behaved despite their young age.

Charlotte was seen exchanging a few words with the Dean of Windsor as the family left the chapel and was ushered to a waiting car.
