Casemiro receives funny X-rated text from Real Madrid star’s girlfriend after Man Utd move – Mirror Online

August 28, 2022 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Casemiro received an expletive Whatsapp message from the partner of his Real Madrid teammate Fede Valverde, pleading with him not to join Manchester United.

The Brazilian international’s move to Old Trafford was confirmed on Friday evening as United paid an initial fee of £60million plus a further £10m in potential add-ons. United had made a deal for the Madrid star their prime focus after their move for Adrien Rabiot of Juventus broke down while Frenkie de Jong is still a Barcelona player.

Casemiro has become the fourth signing of the summer at United under new boss Erik ten Hag and they are hopeful the signing of the Brazilian will spark a late influx of arrivals. Defenders Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia joined from Ajax and Feyenoord respectively, while Christian Eriksen arrived as a free agent after his Brentford contract expired.

Casemiro, 30, received an expletive message from Mina Bonino, the partner of Real Madrid midfielder Valverde. Bonino sent a screenshot of the Whatsapp message she sent to the Brazilian on Friday, which turned out to be in vain – as the player already had his heart set on a switch to Old Trafford.

Bonino wrote, in a message to Casemiro: that was firmly tongue-in-cheek but also reflected the frustration of the Spanish club of their star asset departing: “Gil de mierda! No te vayas” (which translates into English as “don’t go, you s*** a*****e”).

Casemiro had won three La Liga titles and five Champions League crowns across a glorious stint in the Spanish capital, forming a formidable midfield trio alongside Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. The emergence of Valverde, coupled with the signings of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni – who is viewed as Casemiro’s long-term replacement – had ramped up the competition for places.

Have Your Say! Is Casemiro the perfect signing for Man Utd’s midfield? Tell us what you think here.

United are hopeful of at least two more additions in the closing weeks of the summer transfer window. A £67million offer has been lodged for Ajax forward Antony, although this has been knocked back by the Dutch giants. PSV Eindhoven’s Cody Gakpo is an attacking alternative.

The club are also hopeful of signing a new goalkeeper to provide competition to the out-of-form David De Gea while they are also hopeful of adding a new right-back, although that is tied into the future of Aaron Wan-Bissaka – who may complete a return to Crystal Palace this summer.

This Instagram Page Shares 130 People That Decided To Ink Themselves With Crazy Tattoos

August 27, 2022 by humorouz Leave a Comment

The world is full of some seriously talented and dedicated artists. Today, we’re taking a deep dive into the world of ink and looking at some of the most impressive tattoo designs, as shared on the ‘Crazyy Tattoos’ (yup, with two y’s) Instagram page.

A page with a jaw-dropping following of 1.1 million people, ‘Crazyy Tattoos’ celebrates the best of the best and the weirdest of the weirdest. The details are incredible, and they’re seriously inspirational no matter if you’re inked up to your eyeballs or you prefer just looking at awesome designs from afar. If these won’t make you say ‘Whoa!’ like Neo from The Matrix, we don’t know what will.

As you’re upvoting your favorite designs, have a think about which of these pics wowed you the most, and let us know about it in the comments. Meanwhile, if you’re feeling up to sharing, tell us all about how you got your first tattoos, Pandas.

Meanwhile, check out Bored Panda’s interview about tattoos with artist David McKinlay, the owner of the Archangel 1608 Tattoo Studio in Glasgow, Scotland. He told us about what happens to ink as time goes by and why artists need to think weeks in advance when adding minute details to their designs.

David, the tattoo artist running the Archangel 1608 Tattoo Studio, told Bored Panda that the quality of a tattoo really depends “on the skill of the artist, with the equipment a very close second.”

“As tattooing is big business now, so is supplying tattooists with equipment. This means there are more companies than ever competing for our business, and having to refine and improve the quality of their products to be competitive,” he told us.

“It’s really hard to get a lot of minute detail into a tattoo, and for the tattoo to keep that detail over time.”

According to the tattoo master, as tattoos age, the lines will spread out and thicken. That means that, eventually, no matter how great a tattoo initially is, it won’t be as sharp and crisp as it once was. Time marches on.

“This is the sign of a great tattooist— knowing just how much detail to put in, with the finest needles, that will last the test of time. Unfortunately, we see a lot of work now—micro portraits mainly—that will only look good for a few weeks, then like mush forever after,” he warned.

David said that with the high-quality inks that are available nowadays, they’ll last infinitely longer than older inks. “Generally, a good tattoo won’t need to be touched up for at least 20-25 years, if at all.”

Unfortunately, not everyone gives tattoo artists the respect and recognition they deserve. The key is in the name: they’re artists, and what they do really is art. Their creativity, their dedication to their craft can be phenomenal.

All the while, you have to keep in mind that they’re inking a real live human being, not just painting designs on paper or pixels. It takes nerves of steel, as well as imagination and patience to create the best designs. Designs that end up being shared and reshared on social media around the globe, for years to come.

During a couple of earlier interviews with tattoo master David, the mastermind behind the Archangel 1608 Tattoo Studio in Glasgow, Bored Panda learned a lot about the craft of tattoo artists. We also got a peek into the relationship these artists build with their clients.

David told Bored Panda that tattooists can practice on any number of things “to help them get the mechanics and techniques to tattoo properly.”

“You can buy synthetic skin, pig skin from a butcher’s, or even use fruit, such as oranges or lemons, bananas,” the tattoo artist shared with Bored Panda.

Eventually, however, you’ll have to move on to inking real people. According to David, there is “no substitute for moving, breathing, sweating, bleeding human skin.” Oranges and pig skin, while good for some initial practice, aren’t the real thing. Once you’ve got the fundamentals down, it’s time to hone your craft further.

Some tattooists choose to do their very first designs on themselves. David, from Glasgow, is one of them.

“The first 4 or 5 tattoos I ever did were on myself. It was a pretty severe learning curve, but I had to prove that I wanted the apprenticeship, and it let me see how the tattoos would heal up, and what I could do better,” he shared just how dedicated he is to his craft.

#13

“You shouldn’t really be tattooing actual clients for a long time, but if you can persuade friends to let you once you’re ready, that’s great,” he added.

“Tattooing is a craft, a skill, and should be taught directly from one person to another,” David, the founder of Archangel 1608, told Bored Panda. In his opinion, tattooing isn’t something that you should learn from “a YouTube video or a bs tattoo ‘school’ that only cares about your money.”

#16

#17

#18

According to David, in their tattoo studio, they have a rule that if a customer isn’t 100% confident about the design, they won’t do it.

“We’ll try to offer a compromise, but if the client is too rigid, we’ll point them in the direction of another artist. The client is only right in terms of what they like, not how the tattoo can actually be done or will end up looking,” he told us.

#19

#20

#21

A while back, David told us about another side of the artist-client dynamic. While most customers are great people, there are some bad apples here and there. Some folks simply don’t understand that what tattooists do requires a lot of time, effort, and experience.

“We do get people asking for discounts, but it’s not as common as it was. I think we’ve a reputation now for not taking nonsense,” he said that some industry professionals generally tend to get more customers asking for discounts. For instance, bakers and hairdressers get these requests more often than others.

“It’s insulting though. These people trying to barter certainly don’t go into their supermarket or travel agent and try to get the price down,” the tattoo artist said.

David said that he’s run into some rude clients who don’t respect the artists’ time and think that “it’s ok if people cancel last minute, or fail to turn up, as they think we can just do some drawings to fill our time, when we should be earning money.”

In his view, people really need to call out rude customers instead of ignoring them. “In the last couple of years, there’s been a rise in entitled, over-bearing, and spoilt attitudes from a certain minority that think the sun revolves around them… when it doesn’t! It shines out your tattooist’s butt!” the Scot joked.

Afghan men smile in pedal boats in Herat as women continue to be oppressed under Taliban  | Daily Mail Online

August 27, 2022 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Afghan men have been photographed apparently enjoying life under Taliban rule by visiting restaurants and parks and riding in pedal boats despite the horrific abuses being carried out by the new regime.

In Herat yesterday, there were scenes of men laughing together while making the most of their relative freedoms, even while armed Taliban soldiers stood guard nearby.

Afghan men flocked to restaurants, gathered in a park and even enjoyed a leisurely ride on the water in scenes appearing to show normal life far removed from the violence and oppression of women elsewhere.

There were similar images last month of Taliban fighters trying out funfair dodgems as the terror group tries to soften its global image with a more progressive and moderate outlook.

But away from the cameras, women’s rights continue to be oppressed, protests are being shut down and it comes only weeks after terrifying scenes at Kabul Airport and elsewhere in Afghanistan.

There have been reports of door-to-door executions of women and allies of the previous administration, amid crackdowns on girls’ access to education, sport and a career.

The UN chief has called on all countries around the world to order the Taliban to deliver an inclusive government that respects the rights of women and girls.

Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said world leaders should engage with the new regime and tell them Afghanistan should not be a sanctuary for terrorism anymore and should play a constructive role in international relations.

He told a news conference on Friday ‘it’s important that independently of different strategies, of different forms of contact, all countries are able to convey the same message and to engage with the Taliban in an effective way.’

He said the UN is ‘permanently engaging with the Taliban and we believe that a dialogue with the Taliban is absolutely essential at the present moment.’

Guterres said humanitarian aid is also essential and efforts must be made to prevent ‘an economic meltdown’ in Afghanistan.

He said the country’s financial situation is ‘very difficult’ and ‘it is essential to find ways, through some waivers or some mechanisms’ to inject cash in the economy to avoid a meltdown.

Looking ahead, Guterres said, ‘what would be positive is to have simultaneously the formation in Afghanistan of an inclusive government’ that respects previous international commitments by the Afghan state and takes into account concerns about terrorism, human rights and other issues leading to ‘a normalisation of the relations of the international community with Afghanistan.’

Despite his appeal, a number of governments have signalled their reluctance to formally recognise the newly-formed Taliban government.

Pakistan’s foreign minister says the international community is not in a hurry to certify the government, although it has a desire to engage with it.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi spoke at a joint news conference after holding talks with his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Albares in the capital, Islamabad.

Qureshi said that he had come to this belief after having meetings with diplomats from various countries. He said that ‘people are watching, they are waiting, they are looking at the unfolding events of Afghanistan.’

Qureshi said ‘I see a desire to engage but not a rush to recognize’ the Taliban.

In his remarks, Albares said Spain wants to see a stable and peaceful Afghanistan.

He also said Spain wanted safe transit for those who wanted to leave Afghanistan to travel to Spain.

Meanwhile Russia’s top diplomat says he is not recommending that an official delegation be sent from Moscow to a ceremony inaugurating the Taliban.

German international broadcaster Deutsche Welle says 10 of its correspondents in Afghanistan have left the country for Pakistan

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov this week appeared to suggest that Russia could send high-level representation to such a ceremony if the Taliban formed a government that sufficiently represented the country’s ethnic groups.

But on Friday he was quoted by Russian news agencies as saying he envisioned only representation by Russia’s ambassador.

In a change of tone from the US, officials said if the Taliban lives up to all its commitments, brings greater stability to Afghanistan and the region, demonstrates widespread inclusion, and protects the gains of the last 20 years ‘we’ll work with it.’

He said the standards the international community has set are clear and include facilitating safe passage for Afghans and foreign nationals who want to leave Afghanistan and respecting the country’s obligations under international humanitarian law ‘including those related to the protection of civilians.’

‘We’re watching closely to see that those standards are met,’ he said.

DeLaurentis told the council that following the US withdrawal and the Taliban takeover, Afghanistan needs the United Nations and the UN political mission in the country ‘more than ever.’

He said ‘the United States remains committed to the people of Afghanistan,’ and as the country’s largest humanitarian donor it is helping partners on the ground provide assistance, ‘but the needs are vast.’

With the diplomatic footprint in the country reduced, DeLaurentis said, ‘the UN has a vitally important role to play’ not only in coordinating aid but in preventing human rights violations and abuses and pursuing accountability for those that have occurred, and in protecting children and civilians.

Meanwhile German international broadcaster Deutsche Welle says 10 of its correspondents in Afghanistan have left the country for Pakistan, after it was previously unable to get them out of Kabul by air.

A UN development agency said Afghanistan is teetering on the brink of ‘universal poverty’ which could become a reality in the middle of next year

Deutsche Welle said in a statement Friday that the journalists, including its only female correspondent in Afghanistan, were able to leave on Thursday.

It didn’t detail how exactly they got out of Afghanistan, but said that ‘due to a variety of reasons’ an evacuation by air had not worked out. The group had waited unsuccessfully outside the Kabul airport for days.

As a result, the broadcaster said, ‘all options were explored to get the group out of the country by another route.’

Deutsche Welle director general Peter Limbourg thanked the German government, ‘without whom this evacuation would not have been possible,’ and Qatar, which he said made an ‘enormous effort.’ He said authorities in Islamabad had granted permission for the evacuation of the families on humanitarian grounds.

The evacuated correspondents are to be taken to Bonn, Germany. The broadcaster said it is in talks with authorities to bring relatives of the employees of its Dari and Pashto services to Germany, as well as two correspondents and their families who had returned to their hometowns after weeks of waiting in Kabul.

It comes amid a warning from the UN development agency which said Afghanistan is teetering on the brink of ‘universal poverty’ which could become a reality in the middle of next year unless urgent efforts are made to bolster local communities and their economies.

Per capita income more than doubled in the last 20 years, life expectancy at birth was extended by about nine years, the number of years of schooling rose from six to 10, ‘and we got women into university’

It said the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan has put 20 years of steady economic gains at risk.

The UN Development Program outlined four scenarios for Afghanistan following the Taliban’s August 15 assumption of power that predict the country’s GDP will decline between 3.6 per cent and 13.2 per cent in the next fiscal year starting in June 2022, depending on the intensity of the crisis and how much the world engages with the Taliban. That is in sharp contrast to the expected 4 per cent growth in GDP before the fall of the government.

‘Afghanistan pretty much faces universal poverty by the middle of next year,’ Kanni Wignaraja, UNDP’s Asia-Pacific Director, told a news conference Thursday launching its 28-page assessment. ‘That’s where we’re heading – it’s 97-98% (poverty rate) no matter how you work these projections.’

Currently, the poverty rate is 72 per cent and Wignaraja pointed to many development gains after the Taliban were ousted from power in 2001: Per capita income more than doubled in the last 20 years, life expectancy at birth was extended by about nine years, the number of years of schooling rose from six to 10, ‘and we got women into university.’

But she said Afghanistan now faces ‘a humanitarian and development disaster’ resulting from political instability, frozen foreign reserves, a collapsed public finance system, ‘a crush on local banking because of this,’ as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chasten Buttigieg Mocks Kavanaugh For Fleeing Restaurant Amid Protests — But The Joke Blows Up In His Face

August 26, 2022 by humorouz Leave a Comment

Chasten Buttigieg took some serious backlash for a tweet that appeared to condone protesters who forced Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to leave a Washington, D.C., restaurant through the back exit.

Buttigieg responded to reports about Kavanaugh — published Friday in Politico’s Playbook — by invoking the Court’s recent decision overturning the landmark abortion cases Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey and appearing to suggest that the justice had it coming.

“Sounds like he just wanted some privacy to make his own dining decisions,” Buttigieg tweeted.

Sounds like he just wanted some privacy to make his own dining decisions. https://t.co/pAUiYqxIHT

— Chasten Buttigieg (@Chasten) July 8, 2022

Jeryl Bier noted that Kavanaugh had recently been the target of an alleged assassination attempt, tweeting, “Sounds like you’re making light of someone who recently was the target of an assassination attempt.”

“Someone tried to assassinate Kavanaugh a few weeks ago in the home he shares with his wife and very young daughters,” Ellen Carmichael added. “You’re married to a cabinet secretary. This tweet is deeply irresponsible, and you should be ashamed of yourself. I’m actually stunned that someone who is the spouse of a public official would have so little self-restraint and maturity as to post something like this. Absolutely repugnant behavior.”

“Extremely unbecoming behavior that could have dangerous consequences for public servants and their families. If you can’t handle being a freaking grown-up in public life, then maybe you shouldn’t try to peddle books and try to become a minor celebrity. Truly gross,” she continued. “And I find it odd that the guy who had no problem with his cabinet secretary spouse taking off extended paternity leave in the middle of a massive supply chain crisis for the sake of their young family can’t see how other public servants’ families deserve protection.”

And I find it odd that the guy who had no problem with his cabinet secretary spouse taking off extended paternity leave in the middle of a massive supply chain crisis for the sake of their young family can’t see how other public servants’ families deserve protection.

Ricochet editor-in-chief Jon Gabriel added, “What happens if MAGA types start showing up where ever you and Pete go? This continued escalation is a dangerous game, especially since Kavanaugh just had an assassination attempt on him. You don’t want the world you’re advocating for.”

“Would you and your husband enjoy being hounded out of restaurants by mobs? In DC — or your new ‘home’ state of Michigan?” Guy Benson asked. “I’m sure there are people who would accommodate that. Is this where we want to go & what we want to celebrate?”

Ted Frank suggested putting the shoe on the other foot, tweeting, “It seems like the Ironic Protestors for Civility also need to be interrupting the dinners of the families of cabinet officials and White House press spokespeople.”
