Is there anything Catriona Gray can’t do? ICYMI, our very own Miss Universe 2018 recently flew to Vietnam to judge their local pageant and she absolutely wowed! Did you know that she did her own makeup, too? She tagged makeup artist Jelly Eugenio and hair stylist Brent Sales in her caption saying: “hope you’re proud of my glam [emoji] I was taught by the best hehe.” And it turns out the story behind it is much more colorful.
Jelly recently shared on Instagram what really happened through a string of screenshots with the hashtag #trainedbyjellyeugenio. It turns out that Cat reached out to her go-to makeup artist and friend for guidance during pageant day! Ever the pro, Jelly was quick to share feedback and went on to oversee Cat’s glam change virtually.
Using technology to their advantage, they bridged the distance through text, videos, and even an app to illustrate the peg they were going for. The celebrity-approved makeup artist made sure to send constructive comments and detailed instructions so that Cat can look her best for the event.
The back and forth continued and culminated with a final selfie from Cat. Not only did it get Jelly’s seal of approval, it also garnered so much love from netizens!

The internet went wild in the comments section! As much as they liked Cat’s look, most couldn’t get over the close bond and easy rapport between the two.
And who can blame them? These two took online learning a whole ‘nother level. The final results slayed!
